Today/tonight probably played 7 ranked season games and faced Kluber as a starter in every one. Except the one game where he came in for three innings of relief.
It's not that Kluber scares me -- I'm good for a couple runs off him -- but he is frustrating and more than anything it's borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring. Say what you will about MLB 18 but at least the insane grinds forced diversity of pitchers.
It's literally gonna be Kluber 50%+ of the time until October. And that just doesn't seem fun, at all.
Gonna have to stop you right there. This game is way better than 18 grinding and playing wise. Once you got your immortal Gibby, Ryan, and Seaver. Along with Kershaw. You saw the same thing. It didn’t take till finest cards came out that we saw remotely a new meta. 18 was terrible all year dude.

Game is almost 3 months old, and only 1 99 starter, that everyone has. It was some terrible planning by the context team. Please do not have 99 pitchers available early in The xp reward path again!! I thought they realized it was a mistake last year too.

Kluber to Hal... Hal to Kluber... sprinkle in Oswalt and Chapman.
Rinse. Repeat.It's beyond boring and it's the biggest reason why I've played only about 2 RS games/week since the beginning of April. Never thought I'd actually MISS facing the likes of Sale, Ohtani, Cole, Stras, etc...

I don't mind facing him when the connection is pretty good. Problem is the connection is rarely good and the game is miserable trying to hit 120 mph pitches with zero pitch recognition.

Being able to use starters out of the pen only compounds the problem. I don’t know how many times I’ve faced somebodies 4-5 starter scores a few runs early and by the 3rd or 4th inning I’m seeing kluber or Hal out of the pen.

I usually make good contact against Kluber, but the annoying thing is that his card is so juiced that RNG decides how many of my good/squared go for hits. Sometimes it's 12 hits, sometimes it's 2. Any other pitcher I'm consistently squaring up gets lit up regardless.

Seen Kluber so many times now I kill him every time.

Why do so many people complain about facing Kluber? The game is TWO months old and he is a 99 overall pitcher that is FREE. Do you expect people to not use him? Stop being ignorant.

Won’t have to face kluber as much if it is king Félix for this round of bosses, depending on what his attributes he could be a upgraded version of kluber, plus he would get a prestige
