RS rewards

So RS is the entire reason I play this game, love the sweaty battles. I’ve made cs both seasons but have been unable to make that final push. I can’t play multiple games in a row or my eyes tire and focus gets lost. And some days I’m in the zone and am unbeatable and other days I’m a an Astros trash can in the hallway getting beat on. I am determined to make ws for the accomplishment of doing it more than the rewards but I wanted to ask......
Why do all the rewards suck except WS?
I know as the year goes on the pennant race teir has better stuff in it but why are the DS and especially CS rewards so atrociously bad? Like each time you level up it’s a big deal. Some people only make DS or CS. Obviously they don’t have to be top tier like the WS reward but they could be better than the poo in the pennant race pack. I mean a single pack or a gold player? Could at least be a pack bundle, ballin pack, or some cool choice pack. Seems really lack luster and could use an overhaul?

Yeah, I feel you. the 20k and 25k xp are the best of the rewards given for DS and CS. I'm not exactly sure how to structure the rewards to make it not to good, but still good enough that you feel rewarded for making. Like you said, maybe at CS you get some combination of packs.
It def does need an overhaul imo

I feel like RS rewards should be just stubs, in decent amounts, and all cards in the game are acquired through promos/programs.
Also, make all cards sellable. Earning cards is fine and all but most of the time I’d rather just be able to sell it and put those stubs towards a player of my choosing.

No way would I like this , earning cards is awesome, you can turn them into stubs if you want, plus it’s more avenues for cards to flow through. There should just be significant rewards for each level. When the pennant race reward is better by leaps and bounds to WC , DS and CS it just seems lazy and inconsistent.
If the WS reward is a 97 and pr is 85 why can’t ds be a 89-90 and CS a 91-92? Or at least more than it is now. Someone mentioned the XP being the best reward besides the WS , and I agree, however the XP even becomes a mute point as you max out XP later in the cycle. The game is built on the cards so those are the only real rewards I care about, although I so appreciate the XP as a “bonus”. Also grind only cards are awesome , like the ones from the extreme moments last year or POTM this year to a lesser degree. If you want that card you have to earn it , you can’t just buy it like all the other rewards. -

This is something I’ve brought up before. They need to make non-world series divisions more enticing. Right now it’s either World Series or bust, and for the people who can’t make WS you pretty much waste your time. Sure you get a few levels and stubs/gold players, but that’s nothing compared to World Series.
Each division should be divided into subdivisions of like 20 or 50. There can be additional rewards there. Next, they can add a unique reward around 250 and 300 and 700, to make things symmetrical. At the start of the year the 300 would be a silver, while the 700 would be a low diamond. Finally, up the stub rewards from it, so that players feel that if they hit one of those milestones they can get enough stubs to make a substantial improvement. -
With so many options for cards I don’t see why DS and CS can’t have quality rewards.
Something like Lofton level for CS or a 90 pitcher and DS could be an 88-89 legend that is going to have a better card anyway. At least a LS choice diamond pack , special headliner type packs designed for the teir, pack bundles. What’s there now is as close to nothing as you can get without actually being nothing -

I agree completely. I’m not good enough to make WS but I am capable of making CS when I care to play RS that much. After hitting PR or wild card I just don’t have much motivation to keep playing for a bat skin, a LS gold, stubs and XP. Giving out a 90 or so diamond for making CS would make me want to play RS more for sure

All the reason why I will stop caring about BS in RS games and whether I win or lose. I will never make WS anyway so why bother getting upset about a mode that offers nothing in terms of rewards outside of WS

But it is the main mode are core of diamond dynasty so improving the tiers and making them meaningful, would imo, approve the game for everyone equally. I can’t imagine anyone would be upset with a reward upgrade or restructure. As you said RS is WS or bust as far as regards go. But playing people at your level and battling for wins is fun and the entire point of building teams, making DS or CS should be a motivation, and rewarded as such. Not just a reward for WS which 90% of people will never make.

Yeah for sure. Rewards SHOULD be better across the board. I am simply taking for myself that I'm going to keep in mind how rewards completely suck when I find myself getting upset at the game during RS. The rewards are not worth stressing over the BS gameplay IMO which I am hoping will improve my mood/enjoyment while playing otherwise I may as well quit now lol

Britton is good, Pierre is good if you want speed cheese, but Lofton is the same card for under 20k. Everything outside of Britton has been underwhelming for WS rewards. May on paper at least looked like he should be good.

Agree with this post 100%. Getting to DS/CS is a pretty big deal to me as making WS is very hard unless you’re above average at the game (I’m getting there). The fact that the current reward for getting to CS is a live series player is pretty garbage. I know towards the end of the year the rewards get better but as of now it really doesn’t give any player (outside the elite) any reason to go through the agony and stress that is RS lol. Once you start getting into HOF difficulty those games are really grind out games. The fact that all I’m getting for getting there is XP and a max of like 8,000 stubs is so lame.

At least you can flip those rewards for 100k plus to work towards another goal. For the other divisions you’d be lucky to get 15k stubs back all together

And people In lower ranks probably need those high value cards to sell more than the elite players . At least something? A live series gold likely at QS 1k level is not helping anyones team

Hopefully we can at least see better rewards in DS and CS when the next season comes out, and possibly a new structure to it in 2021

It is confusing to me because the PR reward is decent, and then you look at WC and above and there is really nothing worthwhile until WS.

It was this way in years past... Perhaps no we are further in the game life they will update the reward. Right now your 500 reward is better than you 800 reward lol

Yeah it makes no sense and it’s not exactly easy to make 800, a gold player and a pack? I mean come on now
