Never buying stubs again!

First off I know cards don't make the player. But I just watched my son lose a 21 inning game vs the CPU, on AS, 4-3.
If the CPU wasnt making Superman diving plays, jumping 10ft in the air to catch a line drive, it was dotting the zone with bullets.
I bought him 150K worth of stubs because that, and this game, is what he wanted for his birthday.
But to watch LS Judge, Betts, Realmuto, Freeman, Yelich, AND Acuna for a combined 2-36 is [censored] ridiculous.
And no it's not because he is a bad player; it's because the CPU was on GOD mode.
His bats looked like they had holes in them. And to lose on a FB that was thrown eye high, and was hit for the walk off homerun by a [censored] Bronze with 65 Contact and 63 Power is a joke.
As soon as he would score, his fielders played like toddlers and the CPU would mysteriously score. 7 errors in that game.
And to top it off; he needed the win to get the Semi-Final pack from the Player's League program.
Now he has to play them again.

Sorry guy, but you'll be catching flack for this one. Yes, gameplay is god awful to say the least. I wouldn't come on here and talk about how your kid lost to the CPU on AS. Trolls will be out to play soon.

2-36 with those players shouldn’t happen no matter who’s playing on what difficulty or vs man or machine. You’re a good man for giving him what he wanted and I feel for you guys lol

Vs CPU there are very few issues. No way you can ever say the CPU is in God mode, especially on All Star unless you need to put a few hours practice in. And this is coming from a guy who has loved to play online H2H over the years and has virtually stopped playing that mess of a mode. So it isnt like I think the game can do no wrong or anything like that. But 99% of this games problems are online and a product of mismatched connections. Not offline vs CPU.

I am not anything close to you. Just waiting it out. I will be back to playing a competitive mode eventually. Or I wont be playing the game. One or the other. I use to play franchise back in the day and was happy with it. But since they dont do anything but take away from that mode year after year why would you go back?

Because of online casual noobs.

Care to expand on this explanation? I don’t see the connection at all.

Troll post? Surely he can expect to win every game. Especially if a child is playing. Practice and get better, the cards don’t make the team, the user does. He obviously needs to play on veteran or rookie to learn how to play, most players can take a bronze and silver squad and beat the cpu on AS like a drum.

I run into this every once in awhile vs the CPU. I learned that the CPU hits FB very well, Sliders are the best pitch vs the CPU along with other off speeds. High FB are no good to throw vs the CPU. My experience.
