I've always been late to the party when it comes to these. So I'm curious of two things-

    1. What are the chances of one happening on a holiday weekend?

    2. What does it do to the market? I understand the logic if it were real life, but this is a video game.

Market will go up. Last year, if I remeber correctly, they usually offset it with something that counteracted it. So, that will help.

Many have said there’s a stub sale every Memorial Day. I can’t say that’s true. I thought it was only Fourth of July for the first stub sale. Someone can speak better to that.

I’ve got no skin in the game either way, but I’m thinking no stub sale tomorrow, prices on items will drop, and most of this forum will explode because people have been buying cards all week in anticipation of a sale.

But, that vote is definitely going to be the minority vote around here.

Situations like this are why I avoid the investment approach and just flip. From my perspective, who cares how high or low prices are? As long as the margins are decent there's more than enough stubs to be made.

I usually just stick to flipping however if I can hold onto the cards I usually flip and make an extra 50-100+ per card why not?

Nothing wrong with holding cards or putting “your” price on cards either. Patience is really the key in making bigger gains. While I wait I can flip for smaller gains. Either way I’ll eventually make more stubs.
