Any of you Show beasts that use pure analog pitching have any tips for me? I’ve been using it for a bit, and like it much more. But wondering if there’s anything you all do that helps! Thanks!

Supposing you know how to use pure a plot I’d say It’s more about knowing what pitches to throw in certain spots. Most importantly to watch the opponents tendencies throughout the game

For me personally it’s all about finding pitchers that you can pitch with great control with. That’s the key. And each person is different. What pitchers work for some don’t work for others, You need to find who you can locate with.

These are my 5 starters - Kluber, Hal, May, Mathewson, Maddux.....But like I said, These guys I can paint with but yours may & probably are different. Good luck.

Don’t pull the stick all the way down to engage the meter. That’s been my biggest help with control. You only have to pull it down a little

Maybe its just me but my approach is to pull the stick down towards the direction where I'm aiming the pitch. For example, if I'm throwing a fastball up and in righty vs. righty, I'll pull my stick down to the left. It helps me hit my spots more often (even though the game sometimes has a mind of its own)

I'm new to analog pitching. I like it a lot better than meter but still have location issues. Like sometimes I try throwing left or right in the zone and the pitch goes straight and other times I try throwing straight and the pitch goes way left or right. Lol. I have even started looking down at my controller after an off-location pitch to make sure I didn't mess up. And sure enough it is up in the direction I wanted so I have no idea why it goes the total opposite. A few issues but I still prefer it to meter. Maybe I'll figure it out eventually.

I also started to not pull back all the way when someone else in here mentioned it as a tip. It has been a huge help but hasn't totally solved my issues.

When you get close to the line it is a verysmall timing window to go towards the side of the plate when pushing back up. it also could be the stick too, I always periodically will spin the stick in a circle several times, both sticks- cause it does it hitting too.

I've wondered, is perfect release a thing in analog? I can't remember ever getting perfect. I get good most of the time.

No Clue. I tried Pure Analog for a bit, and was AWFUL with it. I went back to meter, which I feel comfortable with.
