No one is complaining as much about it being an option. Its the stamina regeneration doesn’t make any sense. You’re not supposed to be able to have a starter pitch 2-3 innings and then be able to start the next game. That would never happen in real life

Cmon man, you know if talking about everyday play. Not the final WS games
I know, I'm just yanking your chain. lol.
I don't use my starters out of the pen unless I just get rocked within the first two innings. I just saw an opportunity and had to take it. I'm not a Giants fan, just a fan of amazing pitching. And Bumgarner that year was the most beautiful baseball I've ever seen.

I wish we could add our extra starting pitchers to the bullpen. At least 1 spot would be awesome. ALOT of teams are using Starting Pitchers as relievers because they have a plethora of Starters on their roster.

This is like Playoff play. Think about how many games it takes to get to WS. That’s about the same as the playoffs. A loss sets you back farther than it does in the regular season irl. So you’re managing these games like the pkayoffs

I only do if it is late in the game. I rarely use my 5th starter, so he is the one I would use. I have considered, as I normally take my starters 8 innings or more, starting a closer in the first. Then I would have my starter finish. I have all but one of my relievers being a closer, 2 diamond. Does anyone else use the closer starting method?
-
It could be a decent feature, but right now there are absolutely zero consequences for using this strategy.

My take is why have starters that have special cards such as Morton’s card or Corbin’s from last year that are relievers with starter like stamina and then just make them irrelevant by allowing their starter versions to come in as relievers.

I use the astros Morton card as my opener sometimes for 3 innings then bring in my starter.

I use relievers as starters some times just to see if people will post on here and get upset. In all seriousness though, it comes in handy from time to time when you know not a lot of ppl use that strategy.

i never use RP's as starters, because its strange as a concept to me, and also shows a huge lack of confidence in your bullpen / your own personal pitching strategies

I’ve never tried bear but I’ve hand kangaroo before. When I used to run to the mall I wouldn’t even look!

The way it's implemented now, there are no consequences for using SPs and no benefits for using RPs because pitcher stamina is completely messed up.
.... do you honestly think that's how it should be?
