Change your input to PC on the TV. It will help it some, but its still pretty bad.

@bonion had helped me out with the pc settings earlier, but I couldn’t tell a difference. I’m wondering if I will now after making some other adjustments. Thanks.

Best thing you can do is change your controller to USB instead of Bluetooth.

    Negligible at best

This is actually incorrect. The dualshock 4 has a higher so called polling rate through bluetooth than through USB. I know this sounds counterintuitive, but it's true that bluetooth is actually faster than wired for a DS4 controller.

Edit: the only upside on wiring your controller would be that it becomes resistant to interference. But I hardly ever suffer from interference while I live in crowded area with tons of signals around.

    Its likely placebo effect

You could try turning off automatic updates on your tv’s built in apps. I also heard turning off audio sync helps some too.

I wondered if that could be an issue. I've thought about just turning off the connectivity every time I want to play online to see if that made a difference. Have you seen positive results from this? Or are you just throwing an idea out there.

I honestly can’t say if I noticed a difference or not, but every little bit helps I guess. For me, my Sony handles 4k better than 1080p. It does around 23ms of input lag at 4k. For last year’s game it was fine even for HOF. I couldn’t do much this year so I bought a monitor. I haven’t tried my tv since the most recent patch. Sorry for rambling. What kind of tv do you have? Do you know what input lag you’re working with?
