Apparently not I asked a similar question as well and no response from SDS. It's stupid if they made changes to hitting for DD only.

Its only a problem if someone watches every HR replay or watches a good/okay wall scraper. I have absolutely no problem with someone watching a replay of a 450 foot [censored] missile

in a previous patch didnt they adjust hitting though for all online modes? If so why adjust 1.11 for DD only?

If I hit a 480 dong to CF I will watch it everytime. Go ahead HR? Watching. Moon shot? Watching.

If I hit a 480 dong to CF I will watch it everytime. Go ahead HR? Watching. Moon shot? Watching.
I just wish I could watch it twice for some of them for instance a 480 foot homerun. I just love the sound off the bat and I don't mind someone watching their homerun, if I made a bad pitch they have earned the right to a replay in my opinion.

If it's over 450 I'll replay it, mine or my opponents. If it's a wall scraper or garbage HR that you watch you are going to see them all.

Kudos on adding the contact and power of the current batter at the top of score when every new batter comes up. Not sure if that’s online or just showdown because that it what i am doing showdown but little things like that are a great add.

I really think people are out of touch with how hitting should be. Haven’t played yet with 1.11 but hitting pre patch was close to perfect. People are way overestimating how often good bat placement and good timing results in good contact. Many times irl that results in a fly out. I think people who play this game generally just want to hit the ball as far as they can. That’s just not baseball. I’d way rather play a 3-2 game than 14-13. Making hitting easier takes a lot of skill out of pitching. In a video game it’s way way easier to barrel a ball than it is irl, so I think that the game should compensate for that by making you really have to precisely square the ball up repeatedly to score runs. Otherwise it’s a home run derby, and we already have a mode for that. It’s way more fun to battle it out trying to create runs with hits and an occasional big home run, rather than rolling the dice to see who can have more balls leave the yard than get caught at the wall. IMO

Didn't notice a PCI/timing window difference. Think the hitting was just fine the way it was.
Still, FIELDING needs enhancement.
Pitching on All-Star is a sharp difference in pitcher's command vs. Veteran. Needs to be not as severe a difference.Allow us to Quick Sell the "No Sell" cards.
Make a HR camera that follows the ball in the air like on broadcast TV instead of looking from ground level.

Second RS Game today was fun being down 7-2 after 6 and winning 8-7 in the Bottom of the 9th with a fly ball against the LF Wall and FS Marsh not knowing where the ball is. That scored my winning run from 1st.
But Fielding is fine lol...
Btw.
Hit a No Doubt HR with FOTF Buxton with Contact Swing and a Oppo Taco HR with 99 Posey also with Contact Swing.

I don't know about you guys but there's two things I'd like SDS to change when it comes to pitching.
So many times using the Pitch Meter I time it to where the feedback says "Perfect release" yet the pitch still misses the mark. Shouldn't the pitch hit "bullseye" if it's "PERFECT"?
I have the Ump settings to "variable" but I can't remember whenever I got a call just off the edge of the zone in my favor. Seems like the computer gets those 40% strike/60% ball pitches in their favor a hell of lot more than me.

Haven't played yet, but if this helps with 95mph fastballs feeling like 120 sometimes then I'm all for it. That feeling like you're swinging an axe underwater is one biggest complaint this year. It's ridiculous that i have to swing before i even see the ball and pray its a high fastball just to get a very late.

sure an option, but similar to first pitch give the person off the waiting for opponent prompt that has it on

You'd still see it if I had mine enabled, unless they make it to where is as though i were in the pause menu.

even if its just an offline option I'd be happy, I just want my game to feel like a real broadcast and not cut to a camera attached behind the player when a homer is hit. Also kills the drama for me. To each their own, all I want is the option back
