You can't drop this without detail for those of us not on game. What do you mean by this. Is it simply more balls in play leading to more opportunities for fielding blemishes or is the hit type variety returning us to the days of no lock on for IF pop ups?
It could be that the increased opportunities are further highlighting how bad fielding is and how urgently it needs to be fixed!
One of the first at bats I had with the new patch my opponent’s OF got the “oh! And he misses it!” Animation. Not sure who he had in RF or if he just got a bad read, but it had been awhile since I’d seen that happen

Just wondering, are there any plans to adjust starter stamina regen, or increase stamina usage when used out of the pen. Using multiple starters a game right now shouldn't be the META.

I think what the patch amounts to (on hitting) is just more rng, rng that is in the hitters favor, but more nonetheless. It doesn’t appear that they say made balls just off center good/good, but kept good/okay on one at the edge. What I have seen is that you can now get good/good anywhere in the feedback some of the time, but still can get good/okay on center/near center too.

Feels a lot like day one. Thanks SDS!! Wasn’t expecting it and had honestly gotten used to the way it was. But this is a welcome change.
HOF difficulty online this year is no joke.

@allmustfall16 won’t be on for a lil while. Curious if timing window for sinker has increased? Seems like the window for the sinker is < then FB. Notice anything?
Do you really feel rewarded better with input?

Small sample. I’m messing around on my son’s account and it feels smoother. PCI is definitely a little bigger too.

Can we all give a lil props to SDS for listening to us? I haven’t played the new patch yet but regardless how much the game has differed they are listening and they have delivered. So tired of seeing the negativity about the game. Yes it could be better but it still has the potential to be one solid game

Update: it happened to me with Ronald Acuna right fed and I did t think I took a bad route. He was there in time and the ball just clanked off hum

I almost feel like that's the main reason they don't want hitting to be to good.

This to me is the most pressing need in ranked seasons

Yeah, it feels great right now.
They are trying people. Stop bashing them for awhile and give them a chance. They are listening and the other issues I’m sure are being addressed.

I played one event game this morning and it felt better the balls I missed I felt I missed and my timing was off. There are more balls put into play which I'm ok with as games will move along quicker then what was going on before. Also really small sample size hit verity was very apparent as I ripped a double down the right field line with Marte and I haven't done that online in 3 weeks

It was needed a little on HOF and that’s what they did. It’s a very small increase. I think you’ll be happy with it when you see it.
Hitting legit feels like day one right now.
Never forget, most of the people whining about hitting day one were all star difficulty and below.
This is going to be great for HOF. And you’ll still be able to pitch effectively with fastballs being legit this year.
