Will the increased timing windows lead to less frequent good/okay outs? The size of the pci didn’t seem to be the issue

Hopefully this update marks the end of “freeze offs” and being called out when you beat a throw by 5 steps. I also hope there is a major crackdown on RS cheating. Fingers crossed.

Lol cheating. Holding r2 isn't cheating

Online rated as well for hitting and what about the defense still being frozen during pickle situations???? @Victor_SDS

That’s been like that for years

Enough with the cheating crapola. You sound like a broken record.

Having various pitch speeds and various timing windows in different RS Divisions is absolutely ridiculous. Keep everything else the same on every level and only adjust the PCI size for each level accordingly. That's it.
(As for which pitch speed to use...the pitch speeds should be fast enough so that the 4 seamer is effective).

stealing needs to be addressed no way 58 arm strength should be throwing out 90 + speed

This overhaul of hitting looks really good, and hopefully a revision back to day one launch hitting.

Sure making the PCI might cut down the amount of strikeouts, but you shouldn't be able to embed striking out your opponents 15 plus times out of 27 outs anyway.

Timing window increase means you might be able to actually hit high inside fastballs if you are looking for them - which will force players to be smarter about how they pitch. This might mean you can actually hit people spamming high sinkers for the entire at bat.

Thank you! I saw the word urgency in the patch notes, im so excited to play and see the differences. I hope this patch continues to fix problems like the previous patches have. I just hope pitching gets a little love if hitting is opened up, but id take the extra hitting anyday.

Thank you for the continued improvements sds

Hopefully 1.11 eliminates or at least heavily reduces good/okay on balls entirely within the PCI.

So far so good. I don't really see the increase in PCI but that might just be my old eyes. I've only played one game so far on HoF so much more testing to do.

Played one event game and felt good more balls in play for both my opponents and I. There may be more bloop hits coming but I'll trade those any day vs what we had. 1 game doesn't tell a story but the 1st page has grab my attention

Seems like there are still too many Just Early on contact that looks like it should have been up the middle!

You can't drop this without detail for those of us not on game. What do you mean by this. Is it simply more balls in play leading to more opportunities for fielding blemishes or is the hit type variety returning us to the days of no lock on for IF pop ups?

It could be that the increased opportunities are further highlighting how bad fielding is and how urgently it needs to be fixed!

Freeze offs have ben in the game for years, nothing can be done about that. Winning or losing just don't exit out the app first & you'll get the W

Good to know that at least it only seems to make an already known issue more glaring rather than re/introduce new ones.
