Idk about anyone else, but there is something extremely sweaty about having a close lead going into the last inning on All Star. ESPECIALLY when your opponent hasn’t touched the ball all game. Unreal
-
I had that the other day. Guy got a bunt single then hit a walk off 2 run shot to win 2-1. I took a perfect game into the 9th in that game

My last two games in RS have been that way. Both opponents hadn’t sniffed a ball all game or had a solid hit ball. Then BAM bottom nine comes along and he drops 3 bombs to win. Off of my best relievers. It’s frustrating!

It’s the little billy code.

I had Hal rolling last night. Gave up one solo shot earlier in the game and a few other hits scattered. I pinch hit for him in the bottom of the 8th and brought in Franco. First time using him and was worried something would happen. Gave up a double, but that was it. Definite nail bitting with a 3-1 lead.

100%. I need at least a 4 run lead going into the 9th to feel comfortable.
Countless times I've had an opponent not be able to touch anything, then in the 9th its HR derby metal bat time.
Effing RNG cruddy SdSuck

Does that go away throughout the year? 19 was nothing like this. When I have a stacked pen and play matchups I shouldn’t have to worry about RNG taking over! It should take over to my advantage!!!

This is my first year, so idk, but I don’t think it goes away.
They seem to be moved on to the Show 21 for multi platform. This year’s game is just an expensive beta for gameplay and we’re their paying beta testers / guinea pigs.

1-0 lead in an event game.
1 out, runner on first.
Baez botches a routine double play ball that would’ve ended the game. Next batter hits a homerun on an inside fastball completely off the plate.
I wasn’t that upset, just thought it was pretty funny.

Tie game in the 11th. Bunt single, bloop over my first basemen. double steal, then 2 straight suicide squeezes with lightning Didi, and someone else. This game is really fun sometimes. Definitely didn't want to spike my controller or anything.

You always know it's coming when one of your infielders boots a ball that would have ended the game.

This live series event in a nutshell. You know you're doomed when they hit the very early rolled over double down the left field line
