Your current 3rd baseman doesn't have 1b as a secondary?

weird part is that in RTTS with the same loadout playing on 1st base is doing good, without any errors

It sucks I just checked it today and it’s still doing it. This is getting old. Everyone that has this problem should get free packs or something for not being able to play the game I hope they get it fixed soon. 😡

This happened to my pitcher. He was an A, I stopped playing RTTS for obvious reasons. Started playing DD and Franchise. Next thing I know my player has an F Potential. I started a new save, still says F but I have been called up to AAA and MLB

Mannnnn they didn’t fix anything that we asked for. They only fixed a glitch to make the grind easier. In the post they had it just said should fix this issue or that. It’s fun to pay to be quality tester for game studios now

Start over and you should be able to keep your rating. It will get you up much faster

It's because it does it to save load time. If it rains in the first game it'll always rain for the whole series so it doesn't have to reload the entire stadium. Going back to clubhouse forces it to reload anyway, so if you do that you get another "roll" to see whether or not it is raining.

Seems to have started for a lot of people since the most recent patch, must have been something therein breaking it.

??? The equipment boosts do show up. If you pause the game when you are at bat, and you go into your player card, you will see a bunch of "+" numbers above your attributes. Those "+" numbers are actually your equipment bonuses.

The equipment bonuses do not show up on your OVR or as part of your statistics. They don't show up when looking at your archetype. The only place I've found that they show up is in the in-game pause menu. But they are there and do impact your performance.

I have also noticed that the boosts are on your player card in the ballplayer menu as well as on the player card in the pause menu. But for some reason during a game when you swing the boosts aren't applied like they are in dd.

This is why I continue to use just one load out and progress a bunch of archetypes right now waiting for solid fixes to all this stuff before I try the whole 2 way player mode. By the time they patch this stuff to work as it’s supposed to be I’ll be starting a new RTTS in AA with capped attributes and diamond archetypes. 😂

Are you referring to the archetype progression or stat progression like contact, power, etc (all the stats with their progress bars after a RTTS game)?
Because archetype progression did finally start counting for me in RTTS (however for me it's still faster to increase archetype playing DD), however those stats bars are only ever going to slowly creep upwards. You could probably hit 3 HRS in a a game and Power wouldn't increase a level.

Stat progression...I guess I don't understand the archetype stuff...I figured it was all tied together...I am using sparkplug with diamond speed 1 and gold power 3...and painter with diamond velocity 2 and gold break 7...still at 62 for rf and 69 for sp...used to being way further by now...

Why do you mean by playing dd your archetype progress faster by playing dd. I thought you had to play both to progress them

To progress the archetypes you can use RTTS and/or DD, and they have separate totals (hits, XBH, assists, etc) for each. For me I think it's faster to upgrade the archetypes in DD.. I could be wrong though. I've played some RTTS but before yesterday it wasn't counting progression on archetypes so it's hard to tell. But DD has lower requirements and more points for each goal, though obviously you're using 9 hitters instead of 1. But I've gotten a few gold and diamond archetypes just playing DD (Conquest mostly).
To increase the actual base stats of your Ballplayer you do have to play RTTS though, as far as I know. DD games don't increase base stats or if they do they don't show the progress. I'm actually curious about that now.

This absolutely ruins RTTS for me.

I regularly used to chance RTTS characters, have a fire-balling reliever, a junk-balling starter, a power hitting corner infielder, a slap hitting speedy CF...

Now you are stuck with your first choice, no option to start a new character with a different pitch mix.

As I said, this ruins the game for me.

I restarted RTTS. After my third game I could go to bullpen practice and learn 4th pitch. I now have 4SFB, ChangeUp, Slider, and KuncleCurve!
Now for my 5th??? Sweeping Curve?, Slurve?, Splitter?, Sinker? this will be a hard decision - I guess I can always change them out later.
