Follow the instructions from broken_toy1. I also recommend following those instructions for infielders (1B, 2B, 3B and SS) as the 5 button mash will also appear based on having to make a more difficult throw (i.e., after completing a diving stop of the ball and throwing to 2nd from 1st).

That I totally agree with. I suspect a reason why they have not is that it might require a long overdue expansion of stadiums and roster sizes. But, at least on the latest consoles, there isn't a reason why it couldn't be easily supported. Still, particularly in Franchise, there is an artificiality in that player you put in A-ball don't even have statistical achievements, so other than the arbitrary overall attribute level and potential letter, there is no way to evaluate.

It in interesting that there are two A-class affiliates for each team (high A and low A). So, while it would expand from three to five levels, it would I think add realism to GM management in Franchise and also potential promotion options in RTTS.

Is this in the middle of a game? You can only change it in the menu before you go into a game

I think your reply is a non-sequitur. The code is written so that if your player's overall attribute number is higher than the MLB player at that position, then he will be promoted to the MLB team. It's really that straightforward.

@tedlanc_XBL i did just today win a game in extras and the glitch didn't occur. thankfully it's not every time but the fact that it happens even semi-frequently should be checked out.

@calibum26_PSN yep! Same here. A lot of references to 'She'. Sometimes I'm in the 7th game of the world Series in August! In the middle of stealing a base I heard somebody drop the ball in the outfield. My wife and I are laughing watching all this happening.

One other issue when I do get to call the pitch. The pitch is always wild and never a strike. I'm in my 2nd year and I do get to call pitches at least every game. It just never works out:) Usually a wild pitch in the dirt, a FASTBALL upper right, in the dirt??? 🙂

94 overall CF for the royals .. 53 bombs on legend plus in his second year .. 109 bombs at age 20… file corrupted .. hours lost … this is such a joke .. and nobody is saying anything from an SDS standpoint ???? I guess they get your money and don’t give AF!!

It shouldn't give it to you unless you are taking pitches down the middle.

Gonna copy and paste something I posted in another of these threads, hopefully it helps you or anyone else in the future.

"Since this has happened to me before, hopefully this'll help someone out. Usually, when this happens to me, restarting the game fixes the problem. Idk if I've just been lucky but often the bug isnt that my file's been corrupted, it's that the game thinks it's been corrupted, so restarting the game, sometimes unplugging and plugging back in the ethernet cable in case it's a network issue, and trying again does the trick. If it doesn't, the save is gone, it sucks but there's really nothing anyone can do to help you.

To avoid this entirely, what works for me is:

Turn off autosave.

Always have at least 2 saves up at all times. When I finish a series I save one and then after the next series I save the other, repeating that throughout the season so that if one save gets corrupted, at least I won't have to roll back too far.

If one of your files is corrupted, restart the game. Don't try to load any of the others until you've restarted your game, it might corrupt those too if you do.

Upload a save to the cloud (as often as or as little as you want) so that you have a 3rd emergency backup in case everything else fails.

In my experience, all you can really do is be prepared. Every year I run into this issue so I always have to plan ahead in case restarting the game doesn't' 'fix' the save."

It's super annoying, I also think it's an issue with how games are simmed, and maybe simmed specifically while player locked because the issue doesn't just show up in RTTS, I've also seen ridiculously low pitch counts while doing Moments in Diamond Dynasty. Personally, I find it more frustrating while doing moments against a pitcher I struggle against with the guy having barely 70 pitches thrown all the way through the 9th.
