Still bizarre bugs in this game, going to make people turn to madden and 2k. Was playing co op ranked, and Paul Skenes was on the mound for the opposing team. First inning, he was appearing as normal, but when he went through the wind up and threw the pitch, the ball comes from the left side of his body with no arm there, just appearing out of thin air as if he was a lefty. This then fixed itself in the 2nd and 3rd inning, only to go back to the left handed ghost arm in the 4th and then again in the 9th. Was like facing a new pitcher every inning. Skenes is good enough, he doesnt need a ghost arm too! Thankfully we won the game with a Jackie Robinson inside the park walk off in the 9th.

PS: 2 way players dont work in co op still

This happens to my brother and I some. I’ll have degrom on the mound but throwing John Donaldson mix also at the startup screen it will show me degrom and my brother Donaldson or Johnson. If you want your pitcher to hit just move your dh to a position and that will force your pitcher into the lineup. We always have grandal at dh and when the game starts move him to catcher or first for one example

Yea this has happened to our team on various occasions. Sometimes it has been totally inconsistent too, where we win a freeze off and 1 of us loses rating while 2 of us gain it. It is kind of a joke, they cant get the co op ranking system to work and too many freeze offs make it impossible to climb the ranks. They should make it cumulative wins for rewards like how events work, because it is imporrsible to climb the ladder

100% Agree. I have been wanting this for a while in co op. 2k does it for pro am and it is an awesome feature. You should also be able to create a team for you and your friends that will count your record and what not. Thought this would be the year it becomes more expansive, but all they did was add ranked.

The only issue is that they need to get the game working properly in the first place before they go adding a bunch of extra stuff. Too many freeze offs and glitches at the moment to ask for more. We just need a working game

Are you changing out a pitcher mid inning? If so, that's the problem. SDS doesn't know how to count an inning played if more than one pitcher takes the mound.

On Sunday I witnessed the craziest co op glitch I have ever seen. Jorge Mateo was up to bat, and I hit a single to right field with him. Right after that, I was back at the plate hitting with Jorge Mateo. Next pitch I hit a homerun to right field with Jorge Mateo. Hit a single and homerun in the same at bat and thankfully the run scored.

Another glitch happened later that game. No one was holding on the runner at second as far as we knew. Our baserunner takes a lead, their shortstop glitches to second base and they pick the runner off. Broken game

I had a funny glitch like yours at second…the shortstop was doing a fake pickoff play but the cpu pitcher obviously didn’t get the memo and turned and fired to second after SS had already started into his juke back to his position but instead of the ball bounding off into the outfield, he did a moonwalk back to second in time to receive the teleported ball and tag out my base runner! Haha I saved the footage for my own laughs but the same game I executed one of the coolest looking double plays that I’ve ever seen on a video game which cheered me up immensely.

Oh I also had Alejandro Kirk do a double swing at a pitch (both missed lol) in the dirt for strike 3 and take off running towards third base instead of first! I mean I know he’s the size of a t-ball player but didn’t expect his base running skills to match!

2 way players dont work in co op. You are only able to put them at their primary position. It is so dumb

He is talking about in co op. They announced that sets will not matter for co op, so you can use anyone all year. That would be fine if they would patch it so teams stop bringing starters out of the pen in co op. We will have fun all year facing bob gibson as the starter with 99 randy johnson coming out of the pen

Yea it is quite literally impossible to get to world series in co op I would imagine. No one can get that far without a bunch of freezes setting them back. I think they need to change it up and go to the style of events where it is wins per season.

It is terrible. They really need to take the cooldown penalty out of co op if freezing is going to cause it. I wish they would fix that but they havent fixed co op since it came out

There is no reason it would be different now than before. Not sure what you expect. It has always been the same with this game. Some people like me never have an issue and some people do. It isnt gonna change. Issue is with peoples internet connections and syncing them up in on-line play. Pitching is too fast apparently and they just arent gonna get better at figuring it out. Other games dont have to worry about that sync. Action not near as fast in other sports.

Same reason two way players don’t work, the mode is completely busted

Lol did this ever get fixed? Probably not, they do not care at all about co op and go into hiding when people ask questions about it.
