This is probably a stupid question but it's driving me nuts. I'm creating a new stadium for Oakland based on an artist's rendering of the 2006 Cisco Field proposal that would have had the A's play in Fremont, CA. Not surprisingly, the walls are green but for some reason the left field wall is blue and made of a different material than the rest. The only thing I've done with the walls is set the distances and heights and I'll go to my grave swearing that wall was green until recently. But I have no idea how that one section turned blue or how to fix it. I've scrolled through the wall options, but I'll be damned if I can find the green being used from left-center field to the right field line.
Any suggestions? Normally I'm pretty good at improvising, but I'm trying to use as much of the artist's rendering as possible and blue walls aren't going to cut it. I'm going to try again this evening and hope I just missed something that's right in front of me before I start pounding adult beverages in defeat.
Thanks!
I found the same thing with a stadium I created last night...and I found a fix!!!
Put your target over that section of the wall...
Push and hold R1...
Move left stick down and left to "Wall Edit"...
Ignore the warning since you will only be editing the wall material and select "continue"...
Hit the triangle button until you get the material to match...
Hit the circle button...
Select "Keep Changes"...
That is it!!!
I've done all of that and I swear the option I want that matches the rest of the wall isn't there. It's the weirdest [censored] thing. I know it's not my eyes or shadows because when I get up close to the differing sections, you can see one is green and one is blue. And no matter what I try I can't get a material option in any shade of green for that part of the wall. I might need to scrap my plans to be as precise as possible and cover it with ivy, make that part of the wall brick, or find a material that works for the entire outfield wall. The stadium was never going to be exact anyway because of the limited, albeit better-than-nothing options the game currently provides, and a likeness loosely based on the photos I've found is far better than Oakland's current bland and ugly better-for-football coliseum.
Thanks all for your help. Much appreciated.
