I mean I'm pitching the full inning, but if I use one pitcher for 2/3 and another pitcher for 1/3, if they're in the same division, that's 1 inning with that division but it's not counted as such

It's incredibly annoying that if you need to use your bullpen mid-inning it doesn't count as a full inning for TA even if everyone you used that inning is from the same division so I was at least hoping they explained why that is somewhere lol

I know the Rays don't have that much history but Brad Miller seems like an insanely random 99 lol

Yeah I haven't had innings count after one game and missions for online HR and online wins in a different game

I know in terms of anticipated pitchers still to drop I doubt he's on anyone's radar with Kershaw, Bob Gibson, etc still yet to be dropped but I really liked using him on MLB 17 and MLB 19 and he'd instantly make my rotation when he drops, just wondering if anyone else is really hoping for him soon.

I think I'm reasonably competent at Showdown and have beaten the team affinities ones for stage 1, 2 and 3 multiple times each and have beaten every inning showdown besides the first one.
However, nothing I do can slow down Dennis Martinez for the 6th inning. I've now lost to him three times and the combination of movement and all of his pitches being pretty slow just completely throws me off. I've drive in the guy from third, maybe get another run in but I'll then inevitably hit into at least one double play and when you've only got 9 outs, that's brutal.
Is anyone else struggling with Dennis who usually does fine in showdown or am I just the worst hitter on the game against him?

Honestly, they should just make it consistent at 1-1 for every PA, I like quick counts but the randomness can be annoying

I bought an IRL Taylor Trammell Bowman card because I liked his Future Stars card so much lol

I'm an Orioles fan so I couldn't turn down the chance to try to prestige Jim Palmer and it's been going great for me so far. Quick counts + HOF makes powering through innings/strikeouts online really easy compared to ranked seasons and I feel like I'll be able to finish the prestige by the time the event ends. I'm sure it's frustrating to hit, but if you just view this event as a chance to prestige pitchers it's been a blast.

I feel like the combination of quick counts and being able to use both handednesses of pitchers has made it lower scoring than the first two for me, even with lower OVR pitchers. It's much easier to get a 99 ovr hitter out when you start the count with two strikes and can pitch lefty v. lefty. I'm wondering if others have felt that way? Can't tell if me and my opponents are the worst hitters on the game or others are noticing this.

I'm at 598 right now and am mainly curious if making it to 600 would make a difference in where I start for next season because it'd be in Wild Card instead of Pennant Race.
Appreciate the info!
Has SDS ever explained why innings only count if the same pitcher starts and ends the inning?
Has SDS ever explained why innings only count if the same pitcher starts and ends the inning?
99’s incoming
XP and missions not counting!!!!
Anyone else really looking forward to 98/99 Ron Guidry?
Can anyone just not beat the Dennis Martinez boss to save their life?
Sds just doesn’t get it with quick counts
Baseball Cards.
This event has been great to prestige pitchers
Has this moonshot event felt lower scoring than the prior two?
How does the math work for the reduction in ratings at the start of each new ranked season?
