Wow, the devs out did themselves on this one. Ok here is the fix for anyone having this ridiculous issue.
Go to RTTS hit square and start a NEW career. It will then ask which loadout you want. The one that is not showing up for you will now be shown here in this list. Choose the loadout that matches the save game your trying to play. Back out of that screen. Then load save game and enjoy.
This is just beyond dumb.
So my first guy was a fastball throwing slugging 1st basemen. Got him to diamond and decided to start a non 2 way player which was a fielding shortstop. After playing a year I wanted to go back to my original save. Loaded it up and the position and player and equipment seemed all there but the loadout was just "default" instead of "hitting" and "pitching" which is what it was for that player. In addition, I have no access to any of the cheesyslugger archtypes that I unlocked. It is stuck showing me only the "fielding" archtype stuff I unlocked with my shortstop player.
Anyone have a fix for this? If I cant get those perks back then my main guy becomes useless and I loose 30-40 hrs of time spent earning those perks.

i still haven't seen a single option to pick a new pitch type. I've played 3 full seasons since the patch that supposedly fixed it.
I wonder, are you still in the minors? And you are looking in the "bullpin" training list, mixed in with the "change pitch type (1-3) to "XYZ""?

It's for 1st inning program if your talking about the xp with modified sliders.
So you can modify the sliders in RTTS with no consequences to your RTTS player, correct?
So I guess yesterdays mini update they made it so using sliders no longer keep you from xp but rather you take a 50% cut.
I am looking for info on exactly what xp are they talking about? Are they referring to xp gain that boosts you game lvl and gives you stubs and cards when you gain a level ect OR are they talking about xp for your player and his ability to gain ability points, or both?
If I dont care about DD am I now free to use the sliders however I want in RTTS with no real penalty??
So waiting on the last two pitches I wanted and finally just got the sinker. I knew this pitch was always in the game from the beginning but the other pitch I want, a screwball, anyone seen this pitch come up in the "add pitch" training ?

Did they sneak in a 4th patch yesterday sometime? My update notification for it says it did? Any notes on what it broke or what they nerfed? Because my hopes of them fixing anything broke is not very high.
At least progress tracking seemed to work like it should from the few games I played earlier.

Did all of your cosmetic change to ballplayer carry over to DD? That's the issue I'm having. In DD it's still just Joe Random, not my ballplayers name or physical changes. I always get this stupid "Ballplayer Conflict" error every time I fire up the game. Server side it says my ballplayer is Joe Random and on the local side (PS5) it's the character I created. What has to be done to overwrite the server side data with the local data that I want? I've deleted all my saves, reinstalled the game multiple times and nothing works. Irritating as hell.
Yea you got like one of the rarer bugs. You are not the only one with that problem I have seen a few others reporting it but we are talking a tiny fraction. Most of us just can't get RTTS archetype credit without going thru a whole BS workaround that involved DD. Equipment is also borked, gloves not showing for some, half for others attributes from equipment not working all the time. I think it is very clear now, their servers were woefully under-prepared for this and their server code probably is faulty too. There is definitely a problem in communication between them and us.
Yea and we are still all Michael Jackson one glovers too.. The only thing on the list I think that actually got patched is the nerf they did on attributes not being over 99 and faster progression through training and for in-game performances is indeed faster. But archetype progression still broken ect.

Yes, I cant see anything that actually changed OTHER than attributes cant go over 100 anymore so they gave us a nerfed broken patch.
After the patch, I went into RTTS and my 2way pitcher way up, the upcoming game I will be hitting, and rather than do the DD workaround so I can get credit for my hitter when I play that game I decided to go ahead and I clicked play next game and then swapped archetypes right there on the next screen to my hitter. Before doing this I recorded that on my hitters' archetype that I was at 9 of 40 plate appearances. I had 4 at-bats in the game I played and after I received no notification of progress on the screen that should and when I went and checked I was still at 9 of 40 plate appearances.

So it has been a week and still no fix for not getting archetype credit through RTTS without doing the DD workaround. Which I do and have my two-way guy almost to diamond for both archetypes, currently playing in the majors, called up in August of his first year. I guess I should consider myself lucky I am not having some of the wonkier two-way problems other players have had.
But to get to the point, I think they have done this on purpose.

History has shown that players will bend but usually not break. Just look at the various things 2K have forced their players to accept as the "new" way to play basketball.
So it makes sense, force a "bug" into the game that brings players over to DD to check it out. Leave it like that for a few weeks so that player anger recedes and people just accept the way it is. Then when you do fix it, you have a whole bunch of new players who will accept DD as something they can play.
While I have had fun with conquest (a little).
I HATE IT.
I hate.... having this two world bull$%^$.
..having a two-way player that really is not two-way.
..being a great pitcher that forgets how to hit and can't run because I have two sets of stats.
..being in DD with a sub-par guy that NEVER gets above 65 even though I am 75??
..being forced to play DD to gain archetype even after they fix it because if you don't do DD then your only making archetype progress twice as hard. (You jackwads rigged the points system, I see what you did there)
..being put into play that I just really really don't ever want to do.
..collecting cards, I am a 50-year-old man, I just want to play ball and by that I mean I just want to play the guy I created, how I create him in the way I want to play him. I don't need your help nor direction to have fun.
..the amount of wasted time trying to swap archetypes ect I could have played a whole other season by now.
I don't want to play against others who just quit after you bang one out of the park, I don't want to play with a bunch of retired or current players and their "cards". I have zero interest in any of that. And while I admit I have had a tiny bit of fun with conquest, I just would rather not, ever, set foot in DD, ever.
But they are not really giving us that choice are they? Even though they said they would.
