The "x1" pill and the "new" pill on the cards are exact same color and size. The selected cards should at least be shaded out or better yet disabled from selection. It's very easy to make the mistake of selecting the same card when you're opening a bunch of packs, eg after completing a conquest.
I've made the same mistake with Sixto. TBH I'd be okay to just hear from someone on the team that this can't be fixed, so I can stop wondering. To hear that people haven't heard back for weeks is disappointing. Just let us know if you're going to do something about it, or not.
