I truly hope you stick to your guns as this is the ONLY way to assure seasons goes away after this year. If you voice your displeasure, Nomatter how loudly…But then go and grind Season 2 anyway then SDS will see you as compliant and not care what you say as long as you play. And nothing will change. The only way seasons goes is if enough people simply don’t play the game - THAT’S IT. Because complaining on forums or saying you don’t like it on a survey does nothing - absolutely nothing if you play anyway. That is ALL sds will care about and nothing will change.

For those that are playing season 2 - This post isn’t targeting you, Have fun. This is just addressing the people that claim they are quitting on Friday. Those are the only people I care about right now & REALLY hope they follow through.

This isn’t a show issue, It’s a humanity issue. You’ll find this same type of “win at any cost” thing across all activities & walks of life. Long story short - It’s not the show, It’s mankind.

Just got the last of the bosses and now I’m 100% done with all cards, programs & collections…I’m never doing this again. This required complete dedication to this game - Completely abandoned all my other video games I enjoy playing. I set out to complete Season 1 and I did that. Now I will get back to playing my other games and just play casually in RS until the next season drops at which time I will not touch Season 2 rather I will just play offline & work on P5’ing both of my squads (God squad, Yankees TT) when I feel like playing The Show and will resume playing online in December when all cards are brought back into play. The current setup in DD is not healthy or good. And next year I’m just going to buy the standard edition and play regs…I am DONE with chasing carrots.

I run a Yankees TT and trust me - The tier 3 boost from Mattingly & Ford makes an ENORMOUS difference.

SDS is now as much an evil empire as EA…Maybe worse actually. At least EA lets you keep playing with cards you earned.

Why are you all coming at Keef with such hostility? So what, He didn’t know SDS would be dumb enough to do seasons AGAIN. Big deal, You shouldn’t have to follow a game on foruns, twitter, websites just to know what’s going on. I get what he’s saying.

@Easy_Duhz_It_ I think you’re ALL TALK. Like to run your mouth at everyone under protection of anonymity. REALLY think if people had to be verified & post under their real identity then these forums would be MUCH more efficient & friendly. When people can say anything to anyone with zero accountability, What you end up with is this forum.

@OlSkoolE63 Honestly dude…I think SDS has accepted their pecking order in sports games and has moved into maximizing profit margin & nothing else. You’re right - There will be a mass exodus when NCAA drops…But there will still be people that stick with the show - Those will be the people SDS will then target even harder for the money. Just watch & see.

@Cubsfan217 I don’t know if you’ve ever played the NCAA football games or not but the big difference between NCAA & Madden has always been their offline dynasty mode. It’s the single greatest offline mode in sports gaming history in my opinion. Madden doesn’t have any good offline modes. When you’re playing the CPU you don’t have to worry about “glitch money plays”. Trust me - NCAA is gonna be

Hi guys…I quit playing when season 1 ended. Thought about this game today and thought I’d see if seasons was in the last leg where you can use all cards again. Is it time or do I check back in December?

@LIONED-33 If that’s the case then I’m sorry but you’re not being truthful…Assuming your kids go to bed at 9pm then you maybe get 2-3 hours a day to play before you yourself go to bed. There is no way you’ve grinded everything only playing 2-3 hours a day. There’s just no way.

I think the captains for the real theme teams are great…Where SDS screwed up was making side category captains like switch hitters, players from X decade, ect.

Also, You don’t need to be meta to make WS and win games. Honestly, Your win/loss record will be the same nomatter your lineup.

ZERO chance they course correct in 24…Best you can hope is they do away with them in future iterations.

No…Seasons ruined the game…Carlos Santana is just a tool for meta followers that can’t hit same side pitching. He’s a crutch for bad players.

I mean…The object of baseball is to score more runs than your opponent. So with SDS still allowing small wiffle ball fields & max elevation stadiums - Yeah, People try to pitch carefully. But if you’re recognizing pitches & taking walk after walk - They’ll either start throwing strikes or they’ll just quit. But it’s up to YOU to make them throw strikes.
