Captain bonuses are they even worth it?

Do you notice any difference? I don’t

@MFate420 it depends on how you use them. If you run a theme team with both pitching and hitting captains, it can make a huge difference. I run a Giants build regularly and both captains make the team incredible.

It really really depends. I try to experiment and make the most out of it as much as possible. If you do not have a lot of cards or a lot of good cards that meet the captain recs it's usually best to just go your best cards you can sadly.
However, if you can get double tier two captains that's usually pretty good I've noticed. You may not be able to fill one or two tier 3 requirements but if you can fill two tier two and the rest of the team is your best diamonds or parallel players then you will likely find success.People may knock it but I REALLY like the subway series Jeter tier 3 paired with any tier 3 pitcher really. You can go the tier 3 Yankees pitcher and subway Jeter pretty well. CC and Pettitte are both great starters for quick boost.

I run a Yankees TT and trust me - The tier 3 boost from Mattingly & Ford makes an ENORMOUS difference.

I know it’s weird… but I run a Royals theme team. The difference with/without captains is noticeable. A couple live series Royals players absolutely rake with the captains boost and are otherwise awful.
-
@JDHalfrack not weird at all. I’m going after those captains next for the same reason. I rake with Salvy and Gordon no matter which card it is.
