Has anyone been able to add pitches when their two way player is primarily a position player and starting pitcher as their secondary position?

Create a 2nd RTTS making it pitcher only and sim it until you hit the bullpen training on that player. When you add a 4th and 5th there, it will carry over

Would have to restart the one I have now

No you don’t. When you add the 4th and 5th with the other one it will add it to your ballplayer and when you go back to your current RTTS save, they will be there.

    Gonna give this a shot.

You can't. There is no option for a 2nd player. They took that out and incorporated your RTTS player in DD.

You are misunderstanding what I said. You can have multiple RTTS saves but yes it will all be the same player. I currently have 4 different RTTS saves that I am using. An infielder, outfielder, starting pitcher, and closer.

Ahhh, gotcha. Didn't know that. I just went off what I read in an article and it did not mention that. Thanks!

  • RTTS 2-way bummers thus far.

I have progressed 10 games in a row after doing the following, including one game as pitcher. Both loadouts progressed accurately.

I am afraid to quit the game and test that it works again, so I am gonna ride this will it's working and will edit/comment after I try to repeat the process.

Do the DD one at bat technique as soon as you log on, and then... (if you don' know what it is, look it up, there are articles and youtube vids)

    1. Go back into RTTS, hit the BACK button (double square looking small button on xbox) that brings up a column of options on the left side of the screen.
    2. Go to inbox. Right bumper to settings. Last setting is "missions." Make sure this is on.
    3. optional - check your rtts progression numbers that are stuck and write them down.
    4. Play a game, but DO NOT EVER use the "sim to next appearance" option, whether it's the option that comes up after each play along with the "watch whole game" option, or the one in the pause menu with the 6 tabs at the top.
      a. after each at bat, if not on the bases, let it go to the screen with the lineups that show you each at bat. Hit B to skip to your next appearance.
    5. Go back to club house after each game. Not sure if this matters, but it's what I am doing.

  • Does anybody know to fix the problem where stats aren't counting towards the archetype program in Road to the Show?

As soon as you log on, go to DD. Put your RTTS player in the lineup batting first. Go to a single player game vs cpu, get one at bat, then just quit, and then...
