@sds_joek_psn both of the apis we need show this … suggesting an intentional outage of them for updates?

We are getting into crunch time for the new season and desperately need these

Hopefully more is being added to them that could help us that would be great news

Yeah it’s hurting about a dozen leagues that really use it. A few hundred users that are really affected for sure

Thank you @sds_joek_psn is this something you think will be fixed this week? We will be drafting on Friday and rely on the api a lot for it.

Universal profile website loads up, but can’t get into box scores. And api site is down too still

We use the api to run our webapp. Pennantbot.app and control our discord bot

We import all box scores by assigning each users game history tracking to the bot to scan for.

This allows us to show leagues leaders, draft, have custom standings and do various other things that make our league intricate.

We would love to demo our usage to any member of mlb the show (account and permissions need to be granted) on request

I just want to bring this up again amid some issues with the current APIs… many custom leagues have gotten very creative using the current apis and an extension to leagues would be very helpful and allow us to fully integrate league play with websites, discord bots etc. @sds_joek_psn

Basically something the would associate a game played with the league. As well as an admin log. Basically everything that happens in the news feed of the custom league and game logs of that league

Would there be anyway to get a custom leagues api that can pull games and stats? Game resets. Etc the data is on the shows website.. so it’s just not public. This would be huge. @sds_joek_psn

@sds_joek_psn ughhhh.. we just always feel so neglected as league players... like other things we want are backend API for custom leagues so we can import stats and standings into websites and discord bots.... but like .. all of this seems like the team just doesnt want to improve this mode. Its so frustrating to us

What about the other issue of the current vs base button not updating in leagues.

The 2 issues are

1. Current not updating in leagues at all (player card accessed in custom league anywhere such as depth chart, trade screen, stats, etc)
2. All vs message board default (if sds changes this to message board it fixes things)

League members very rarely get any noticeable updates unless something makes leagues not work at all…. Anything in this mode to help us out would be so much appreciated.

Hopefully those league issues can be fixed. Please update us if anything regarding them could roll out in a future update.. both would be HUGE wins for league players, alot of this community feels ignored and we love this game more then anyone..

Since online franchise was removed countless thriving leagues have built offline work arounds to mimic different elements of it.. such as manually drafting offline.. then manually trading all 1200 live series players to the teams that drafted them... aka its a group of dedicated souls that love this game and this sport.

Keep in mind, I showed that all was selected in another league for this demo, 'All' is ALWAYS the default, and it reverts back to default when a game is completed.. so after every game theres either 1. Loss of connection to the show after 2 minutes or 2. it take 5-10 min to load in

Once again, this has been an issue since MLBTS 21.. and it this simple fix, solves everything. Please help

Wanted to thank you for your efforts on this issue. The fix that has been processed on the shows website, truly means the world to see things get fixed when they are critical for us! (we use the data from showzone via MLBTS api to draft offline for our leagues)

I wanted to address 2 Custom league issues (one related to this)

In custom leagues when you click on a player (Y or Triangle) to see player card.. the BASE / CURRENT toggle does not work.. The overall changes when you toggle, but the attributes do not.

There is one MAJOR issue that has plagued leagues for YEARS and the fix may be very very simple.

when a league has been around for a while and has alot of data.. upon clicking into the league the news/message board needs to load...

the DEFAULT is "ALL" selected .. meaning every game, every trade needs to load .. which triggers freezing, crashes or at the very least long wait times. This can take upwards of 10 minutes for active leagues with many trades and games played. This specific glitch negatively affects some of the most loyal members to the this game mode the most.

The fix: Make it so that the the default toggle upon loading into a league is "MESSAGE BOARD" to be selected then the only thing that needs to load is user messages.. which is not used very much

We know this because a work around is to join a second league, toggle over on that league to message board, then join the data heavy league, which then loads in with "message board" selected as well

this has been an issue for FIVE years and changing a default toggle selected is what I would imagine to be a simple fix.. and it would make so many people in the league community happy... we always feel a little neglected so something as simple (I hope) as this, would go a lonnnnng way.. and i speak for EVERY top/Active league when I say this.

@SDS_JoeK_PSN the wells example i posted above is very minor with only small disparities on his contact and power vs lefties.. but this is an issue for every single player.. every single day.. and there no way to properly assess and track where a players true value is

a separate issue relevant to this.. is the TOGGLE button to switch between BASE and CURRENT works in DD marketplace.. however in custom leagues.. the toggle DOES NOT work .. the players attributes ALWAYS show there CURRENT (with inside edge) numbers.. which makes trading soooo much more problematic
