Probably referring to the fact that he isn't a switch hitter and wouldn't have huge power numbers. The competitive types want those Carlos Beltran near-maxed out everything cards.

Babe Ruth since the first one is wildly overpriced and it's easier to fit him into the earlier 99s because he's slow and not the greatest fielding stats. I'm guessing that's why they're holding off on updated Negro League series because so many of those guys are five-tool players with good+ power. Has Pedro gotten a card since his 88? If not, he's overdue. Randy is possible too.

I need a 99 take on this pronto.

Went with Beltre. Give a future 99 Brooks Robinson some good competition for my end game legends roster.

I don't know what happened or how it happened, but at some point after finishing a DD game my settings just reset. I don't even think they reset to default because my hitting view was changed to "Catcher." All my audio settings were reset to max instead of very low / off. Hitting & Pitching difficulty were set to veteran instead of G.O.A.T., etc.

Kind of dumb for a live service game. Madden's out, other sports and GTA right around the corner. They could easily release batches of Negro League content all throughout this month. They could also do Extreme so that people can unlock the cards with more time left in the year to play with them. Hell, they could even do like '24 and release OoP series although I guess that generated a lot of negativity for them since it hasn't returned.

Lots of stuff they could do right now but they don't.

I'm weird with Yordan this year.

99 Yordan = so many hanging splitters / sliders down the middle-middle that results in an out.

99 Schwarber had a HR in his first at-bat though.

EDIT - kind of same with PCA.... LS PCA is good, 98 PCA I can't barely hit with even on a vs cpu game.

Exactly what happened to me.

I did get to play an event game and it played much better then the moments. Almost hit a bomb with 55 Tim Anderson lol.

I'm at 1.75m stubs with Ohtani & Judge to go (along with probably at least 400k in uncollected cards that can still be sold). However, I refuse to buy either until the prices return to pre-flash sale (Ohtani <600k, Judge <400k). Well, unless it's for flipping. I did buy Ohtani tonight but flipped him for 52k profit lol.

I'm thinking about switching out of pinpoint and trying something else. For whatever reason I can't throw a circle changeup anymore. Goes yellow almost immediately. Maybe I'm pitching too fast, not sure. Is there any specific advantage to pinpoint?
