I'm always up for a Brandon Lowe card.

They mentioned in the video released today that a new ASG event will be coming on Tuesday.
Okay that makes sense.

The All Star Moonshot Event concludes at 2PM ET / 1PM CT / 11AM PT on Tuesday, July 14th. This is before the actual real life All Star Game that happens later that night.
I just want to clarify that the event will expire before the real life festivities are even concluded. Seems odd to end it on the afternoon before the main game. Then again, seems odd to have a moonshot event since that prevents us from using the AS collection pitchers.

I've had to reboot twice so far but all data has counted.

I rotate between Biz with a fielding mod and Quero without one. For whatever reason Quero seems to throw out more people (still not often though).

Depends. I'll have more success with some LS guys e.g Jason Adams and Troy Melton then I will with 90 pluses. I'll take a sub 80 hitter over a red diamond if I like his swing more, too

It's weird how this game is so different for everyone.
Some people claim the CPU dots every pitch, I rarely get dotted. Maybe a batter here and there, and even then they'll get at least one very hittable pitch in at-bat.
Some people get walked multiples times per game vs CPU. I rarely even take one walk unless I'm just intentionally trying to take one (e.g. refusing to swing at 2-0/3-0 even if it's a meatball).
Some people have menu lag. I've had basically zero menu lag for weeks (I did have some timing out issues when on player cards and parallel mods).
Some people have no online lag. In this event I can't even react to Andrew Morris throwing it down the middle (I've come to learn that MLB stadiums are just super choppy for me).
Some people have app issues. I don't.
Some people have no fielding issues in online games. Even if my players have 99 fielding, they always act like they're struck by landmines late in close games.
I believe it was Thursday night when a lot of people were saying they couldn't even access the DD menu for hours. During that time I was on it and playing games.
... It's weird how the experiences are different.

How does Barnes Canyon play? I'm thinking of playing some games with a high fielding team there. Possibly Griffith Stadium too.
-
A few years ago (I think '23) Gelof had one of the most underrated cards in the game. Always a solid swing.
-
Dumb question...but if the Event Games are laggy then does that guarantee that battle royale / ranked / casual modes will be laggy?

@xRatedGProdigyx_PSN lol right. Ive been playing offline on hof when I need to play offline. They dot every pitch. Exit velocity seems to be better online vs offline.
Heh. On Reddit I see online players complain every day about the exit velocity / launch angles. I tend to get one of the two good. Perfects are high exit velo, low launch angle hard line outs. Goods that are juts a smidge under the ball (still touching it) are like 95-100 exit velo, 30-45 degree pop outs.

@xRatedGProdigyx_PSN game plays like s... on both offline and online. Cpu dots every pitch. 90 percent of well hit balls and contact die in the outfield. Cpu defenders are all 99 rated they catch everything and make every play. So no im not buying this as a reason.
Are you playing CPU on GOAT? From my experience humans throw far more dots than CPU pitchers at least up to HoF. The hitting...yeah, that's the game this year. Gold Glove Kyle Schwarber is annoying but it doesn't happen that often.

Meh, I don't blame offline-only players. As someone who plays a little online and intended to play more this year, '26 plays like s--- online. The first three weekends when I tried to play online they had server issues that prevented that. 95+ fielders frequently act like they're either hit by landmines or use terribly slow animations which start inning rallies.
Infinite foul balls. OFs drop routine flyballs (I've never seen that in 1000s of offline games...regular occurrence online, both for me and opponent). Swing timing is different because pressing the swing button online doesn't generate the same response as it would offline. You see a lot of the same players (e.g. Miz) so that can get kind of boring (or it can be a good thing since you'll get used to seeing him). Then you gotta throw in going back and forth between online and offline if you want to keep up with the god squad or collect all the cards.
The one huge benefit to playing online though: facing human hitters. CPU hitters are intentionally made stupid for people to grind their stats.
Online = baseball game (albeit glitchy). Offline = batting cages.

I haven't been down at all. Now I have had these weird time out glitches when I try to check player cards / parallel mods. Also---and I'm probably the only one experiencing this but I've tried on three different controllers now---it's not consistently letting me change my defensive player. They keep giving me the wrong guy who isn't nearest the ball. Sometimes it lets me switch other times I'm doomed. It's screwing me up lol.

Dubon is actually pretty nice, especially with a speed boost. SL/TN been giving a lot of quality bench bat / defensive subs lately.
Can't complain about a free PCA, neither. And four more Cubs (one being Maddux in a Conquest).
EDIT - Nevermind. First game he botches a routine grounder that would've ended the inning but instead started an avalanche. Then Tony Fernandez with a fielding mod kept it up with a dumb fielding animation. Haha.

Menus and UI felt perfect last few days.
-
@xRatedGProdigyx_PSN Yeah I eventually did pitch. In the first inning im pretty sure he was still screwing around and I struck out the side. In the second he randomly decided to start trying and scored two runs before I got him out. In the top of the third I hit two more homeruns and then he quit.
I've seen a lot of people complaining on Reddit because people aren't reciprocating their boosting signals. I don't know why they don't just send a message before the game starts if that's what they desire. I guess they fear the rejection of someone saying, "No." They could just quit following a rejection though and try someone else. People are weird.

I had a weird one. I played in an event game at a created stadium. Looked like a blank canvas. I thought it was locked to shield woods. Don’t know how that player pulled that off.
