Just played some events on my wired fiber. Game is unplayable. Can't even see the ball. I'll have to dumb down my internet tomorrow and see if that works.

I just played an event game where, during extra innings, I had to activate the throwing meter three times before it gave me anything other than red (no green middle). Ended up giving up a run instead of an easy out that would've ended the inning. Is that connection based or did the game just glitch for whatever reason?

Was it '23? That card was jacked, although I think it took a backseat to Adley for most cause of the switch hitting...I thought Mauer hit a lot better though and he had solid speed.

Offline it's automatic.

Online...It's mostly automatic as long as the runner doesn't wait to take off until about 1/4 way into the pitch. If It's close then it's usually safe because the tag animations are incredibly slow.

This bug been around since the start of the game. Happened to me on Game 6 of a 7. Like Rhyno said though, there are so many bugs that I can't believe a game in 2026 can be released and left alone like this.

That happens frequently in WBC mini seasons.

Ozzie Smith quality defenders at every position doesn't help, either.

The flipping margins appear like they're starting to open up so that's nice. But like others have said, I just don't care for the content this year. I have zero interest in creating a god squad. There aren't enough Cubs legends (where you at, Fergie/Ernie/Prior and a whole host of others?). Way too much repeat content of guys 5-6 overall points higher. If it weren't for playing with the Negro League content then I'd probably check out of DD and just play some ORated for my baseball fix.

What are good stadiums to play for events? Normally I try not to play at Coors Field but it's just so much more efficient when accumulating TBs/HRs than Blue River, Bayfront, Date Palm, Rickwood Field, or Mack Park.

I don't remember anything happening during rtts glitch with diamond equipment sold in bulk so I'm not expecting anything here.

There's never anything on the XP path that I covet other than potentially selling the final bosses if I get there. The 85 Live Series was a decent reward but I knew ahead of time that I was gonna get an 85 before I reached that point (which I did, Jacob Wilson).

Personally, I'm shifting to playing less overall but more online. The offline grind isn't worth it at all for me anymore and I don't have the stamina nor time to play extensively online. Probably better for me anyway, need more mental stimulation lol.

I'm about 350k but I haven't tried to finish it or I would. Definitely easier than last time though.

This happened to me on Game 6 of 7 of Mural. Had to restart.

My understanding is SDS still has servers running for '21 through '26. The last server decommission was when they dropped '19 and '20 in January 2024.

The servers in '26 are subpar. The lag is just...bizarre, something I don't think I've previously seen in a video game interface. I'm just wondering if they have too much going on at once. Would it make any difference if they decommissioned servers to, say, '21 and/or '22? Would they be better off spending whatever resources on those outdated game servers on '26 instead?

I don't believe they reclaimed stubs from the diamond equipment sold during rtts glitches in past years. I don't know if that was as manipulative as this (you at least had to play the game to get the rewards with rtts, not just enter game and quit immediately). I'm not 100 on them taking drastic action here because history suggests otherwise.

Sounds like ORated other than the pitchers are kinda crappy without the right pitch mixes.

The message board went down around 12AM to 1AM CT last night. The glitch was dealt with around 10AM CT this morning. So in that 10-hour span after supposedly disabling the forum (which would indicate that they had staff who knew there was a problem), they couldn't disable the mini-season or change the reward to one stub? If true then odd strategy on their part.

I don't think they did anything with those RttS Glitches the last couple years where people were selling diamond equipment galore.

What I don't understand is that this glitch was up for about 12 hours before anyone did anything. Do they not have an immediate response team for weekend incidents? All they had to do was either disable that mini season or change to one stub.

Between this, the King/Hader glitches, and the menu lag, they just don't care.

It's bizarre to me how they want us to spend millions of stubs on players who we can use on ORated or any offline mode for FREE. In fact, I haven't checked this year but in past years the non-DD players were usually about seven overall points higher than DD Live Series. I'm down to two left and I'm probably not finishing them anytime soon, even when I have enough stubs as I'd rather save for future NLB 99s and Cubs (even though they've gotten rid of so many of my faves there too).

I hate switching between offline and online play.
