Hey all! I created a thread a while back about getting disconnected from the server typically after the 3rd inning on MLB 25 after an update that happened on after the signature series content came out. There were many of us and on reddit where i havd seen people getting disconnected around the same inning and had no issues up until that update came out. I thought there will be a fix for it but gave up after several months and moved onto a new game.

Thinking, its a new game etc i shouldnt have an issue with MLB 26 but boy was i wrong and i just dropped $90 bucks and having the same issue. Cant get passed a mini season game or online after the 3rd inning.

Now i know there are trolls and smartass people on this thread so before you comment and act like yall know everything. I have played COD and NBA 2k26 online with no issues. Always stayed connected. But when i play MLB and only MLB online, i get disconnected all while staying connected to the internet and DD menu. IF, it was an internet issue - you should be disconnected completely or atleast back to the main main menu not DD menu.

Yes, ive done all the troubleshoots like restarting my router, even my xbox, uninstalling etc. Its a server side issue. So for those who have had this issue in mlb 25, it will happen in mlb26 and i cant return the game bc its digital and xbox policy wouldnt allow it.

Its just sad cause i dont complain about the gamd and actually enjoyed the grind etc.

Same here. Did anyones game also not update to the newest version?

I thought they would've done it before weekend classics. Then they didnt. Which sounds like it wasn't a high priority. So, whenever they get to it or know the solve. I wouldnt wait on it. Just buy NBA 2k26. Pure green window is back babyyy

Its SDS servers and unfortunately we've been the unfortunate ones. I would play online within an inning or two - I would recieve an error or disconnect message. Whats hilarious is it would send me back to the DD menu and not the very first load up page when you load the game. Which indicates its not our internet but their servers. But dont worry - something special and bigger is dropping this Friday. NBA 2k26 woohooo! Least i can finish a game.

Random question but for those who are having server issues since the update - is your internet provider optimum?

Call them whatever you want. Thats not the point. The point is - invest the money that SDS has made through all the chase packs, collections, ballin is a gold and etc on making the game better. Its obvious that SDS servers have issues and not just disconnecting but many other issues while players play online. So invest the money that they make off of us on the right things like tech work etc. I understand they are trying to market the game etc but atleast have the basics down. Thats all.

Yeah, my fault for not being specific. But those are the people i was talking about. SDS cant get the basics down but they are investing their money on those people and other areas without having a foundation in place. It is what it is bc at the end of the day they are the only 'legit' baseball game and no1 is competing against them.

Just happy that 2k is coming out this coming Friday (early access). Not that 2k is any better but they at least have the basics. They clearly arent making enough money to fix their servers, so hopefully they are atleast saving up the money they are making right now to get better servers. They need to cut back and fire all those streamers they have on YT bc its a waste of money. Money that should be going to their engineering team. Somebody in SDS is not utilizing their finances correctly.

Weird, it just started happening (today) now for me in online ranked, moments and mini. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the game but still the same. It be what it be i guess.

Anyone else disconnecting from MLB servers but your internet is good?

Bumping the thread - Im assuming it doesnt bc i havent seen my record be impacted by this either. Does anyone know if the W/L will show up after the weekend classic? Is it a glitch that the devs know about?
