I finally fixed it. Did what I should've done after I lost connection for the third time in 5 minutes the first day it happened.
Delete the game and move on to greener pastures.
I won't envy you guys playing next year; when this happens MORE because if cross platforms.
as you don't play the game, many of us will continue to keep playing like normal - just remember that there are no drop outs when your connection is done properly - many of us have told you we have no issues - yet you seem to have issues
Many of you don't have issues; but I have seen people come on here stating that they DO have issues.
Especially when content is dropped.
But I do have a question for you:
How come all night last night I was trying to get into DD buy EVERYTIME I tried I got a Server Error message.
Then I would play another game (Madden) and I would get right in.
I would play a full game, sign out, try to get in DD, either get a Server Error (or if I did manage to get in, within 15 secs I was dropped). Then I would log into Madden with no issues.
Rinse and repeat.
So, if it IS my connection; then why does it only happens with this game?
Does this game need certain settings on my router to connect?
Probably not. The ONLY reason could be that the servers, on SDS's side, CAN'T support all the traffic.
That being said; it doesn't matter anymore as I'm done with the series.
I'd rather spend my time playing a game that I can actually play.
I do wish that those of you who haven't encountered these issues don't in the future.
But I'm telling you all that if they don't get better servers, when they game goes cross platform next year, it's going to be a $h1tshow!
Probably as bad, if not worse, than the issues they had with 17 when NOBODY could get online.
