Lag on the TV is most likely due to a TV setting. If your TV has a 'game mode' or 'low latency' mode, make sure that is on. Seriously a night and day difference.
I do have it on game mode and it works fine there... But it sacrifices the quality of the graphics...

This has literally nothing to do with the game and everything to do with your TV...
This doesn't happen with any other games...
