And I'm complaining again about the Season 3 Collection being so small.

I specifically avoided this BR because I didn't need the low Diamonds, Golds, and Silvers.

Biggest gripe in the game is how they ignore collections.

Every type of card, even the icons and banners, should have some collection for it.

Not including what dropped today; there were 172 'no sell' cards available this program. That would barely get you to the 3rd Collection pack.

Granted, if you played BR and got those mission cards and locked them in; you would've hit the first pack.

But I bet this season didn't have as many cards you could earn (playing or buying) as the other seasons.

Agreed. And this is from someone that missed Season 1. Sure I wish I could get some of those cards (especially Rollins) but I understand and accept not being able to them.

They'll re-release all the Season Bosses.

Chances are this season (4) will be The Forever Season and it will be around 3-4M points long.

It will include all the player cards from the previous seasons and people that have played all year long will complain that they're getting non-sellable duplicates.

They'll also have a Forever Event where they'll re-release all the past event rewards, also in non-sellable packs, where people who have played all year will also complain about duplicates non-sellable rewards.

And don't forget the Forever BR program. Same thing with non-sellable, except for mission players, rewards. People who've played all year will also complain about duplicate non-sellable rewards.

I assume most people, when using a Captain for a theme team, use the Pitcher and Hitter Captains.

Those two give you enough 'players' to add substitutes.

EX: if I want to run a Pirates theme team, using the Tallion card and the Marte card, I can put the Spooky A.J. Burnett in my rotation and still have enough Pirates players to field a team.

When you're playing a BR game and you hit an ABSOLUTE nuke with one of your Mission batters and your [censored]@$$ opponent dashboards as soon as the ball is hit.

What's the chances, in Season 4, they allow you to use both a hitting and a pitching CC from the same season?

And do you think they re-release earlier Season Cornerstone Captains?

There are only a couple of ways they could not give players duplicates.

• Go back to the old system where we won't see a 99 until the all-star break and then not regularly until the end of the season. Even then we would get an occasional duplicate 99.
• Give every mediocre player in the league a 99 instead on focusing on the popular superstars, which some would argue they already do too often
• Like quadruple the amount of legends that they license but I am not sure even that would be enough cards to ensure no Dupes. I think we know that is not happening.

You're first bullet point is what I meant in my 'Unpopular Opinion' thread.

Players should get cards when the situation warrants it.
Also players with strong careers with multiple teams should get 2 99s.

They had little choice with Alonso. In an absolutely disgraceful decision by mlb he was the lone all star for the mets. He had to get the TA card. They gave every HR derby participant a card. No reason to not give a HR derby card because someone would complain on a forum. No deserving player lost out on a card.

Where they screwed up though was the NLCS. Sure, Lindor deserved an NLDS card. But it shouldnt have been at the expense of Diaz and marte. If the baseball gods are dictating duplicate 99s, then you make an extra card for a different player.

Just like lindor should get a finest, but they should also then give the team a +1 to finest and give a butto/Iglesias/Peterson card as well. It shouldnt be either/or incases like that.

This is where I am saying there should be a retro and current option in the affinity path. I don’t have a problem with 99s of different teams. I do, however, when judge is two 99s for the same team. Same with Austin Riley and others.

But since Judge and Riley, so far, have only played for one team, they can't get 99s for more than one team.

Of course, did Riley actually need a 99?

No one is willing to try different cards. The new Billy Williams has similar attributes and a better swing than any of them. And yet nobody is using him.

He may be better to you. But to me; he's a downgrade. In order ti play him over Captain Cruz, not only do I lost the buff to my whole team, I either have to lose one of my three 99 OFs, whom all are way better than the 99 Cruz with that Captain boost, or take a 10% OOP penalty to play him at another position.

I know it's different for each player. But this goes to show that there are way to many 99s being released.

Is the argument here really: I don't use the guy but others do therefore there are to many 99s?

Ok. That may not be an argument. How about this.

99 Mike Trout. It's a Retro Finest from a different year; but did he do anything this year to warrant a 99?

No. He got one because of his name.
