If I remember correctly, somewhere it explained the Stealing attribute ONLY depends on the jump you get. There are times I am thrown out but stealing goes up and there are times I steal the base and stealing goes down. The jump is what counts, not the result which is weird. That is why from a leveling standpoint if you can get good jumps, steal at will. Whether you are thrown out or not does not matter. Also, getting picked off REALLY lowers stealing so you have to balance that with trying for good jumps to boost the stat. Keep in mind once the batter reaches two ball counts the pitchers will not pitch out and rarely throw over so getting a consistent good jump is simpler to read.

I have the BENQ GL2450-B, and on the back it says "rating 50/60HZ" Does this mean I won't even get to utilize the full benefit of next gen console with this monitor?
That 50/60 Hz refers to the AC line frequency coming out of the wall. In North America we run 60 Hz, in Europe it is 50 Hz. So the monitor is universal and can work anywhere in the world. It is not telling you what refresh rates are possible.
If you look at other electrical equipment in your house you will find virtually every one of them will have the 50/60 Hz label by the power plug because almost everything built these days is made to accept either 50 or 60 AC power.

I went to two minor league games last year when I was traveling for work. One AAA and one A. They had pitch clocks and I thought the games were fantastic from a fan viewing standpoint. So much better than watching MLB the last few years. I am strongly in favor of it coming to the big leagues. You don't realize how much of a difference it makes until you see it firsthand and how much it improves the enjoyment.

Another point worth mentioning that took me awhile to figure out. Before starting the first game, you are presented your batting lineup in order of catcher-infielders-outfielders. You can reorder them by moving the cursor up into the lineup and selecting players and shifting them. I still occasionally see opponents with the default order and I am pretty sure the players do not know they can reorder. I always hit my mission players at the top to maximize their at bats for more points. Sure, it means my diamonds hit lower, but I am there for mission points more than wins.

Finagle your way into a game situation where the pitcher is up next with at least one runner in scoring position. In my Mini Seasons experience, the opposing manager almost always gives an intentional walk.
For many missions in MLB22 you have to play the game strategically in a way to control the scenario, not a way to control the game for winning as you normally would. Stopping runners, purposefully making outs sometimes, etc. are a way to force a mission. -

I’ve been wanting to lead off Tim Raines for years now. Oddly, he might be my #1.
Sandy Koufax, Frank Robinson, Josh Gibson would all be nice too.
More lefty reliever options would be cool also. Jesse Orosco anyone?
Here, here. There are a million really solid outfielders in the game, but a relative paucity of top notch lefty relievers.

Ohtani is on the line and would like a word with you.

Actually based on OVR at the end of the season, I now consider the Astros to have the strongest lineup. SDS really went overboard in the final rankings with diamonds on their live roster and now they are perma-juiced.
Some of those high priced cards I (and you presumably) bought at the end are worth it from a rating and performance standpoint. Some of them are high priced because of rarity and do not reflect actual game performance as far as I am concerned.

Congrats!
He rakes for me.

Finest is also what I left behind during my final push because I needed so many. I am glad SDS decided we needed one ticket below all of them so we could adjust our acquisition strategy and determine which collection was the most expensive towards the end.
So do I interpret your message to mean the end is in sight and you will be done once you pick your last Milestone from the pack? Excellent! -
He was there in the NL Central pack. That was how I have him

After going back to Mini Seasons over the weekend I want to change my Biggest Disappointment. I was cruelly reminded of hearing Chris Singleton nonstop say "Man, that is one of those at bats where you have to reminded yourself it's about the process" is definitely the biggest disappointment in the game all year.

Interesting topic.
Keep in mind almost all my games are offline and mix of Rookie, Veteran and some All Star when I need it for a mission. And when I P5 a player I pretty much put him away and try other cards.
MVP: Early-MA Devers Now-Takashi Griffey
Cy Young: Finest Zack Greinke though MA Zac Gallen was more dominant for me. I reached P5 with him so quickly he did not accumulate the stats compared to Greinke
Rolaids Relief: I could pick Finest Sutter or Takashi Wagner. They are just about a tie in stats as well as my feeling for who was most effectiveBiggest surprise. When I started the game, pretty early on I acquired a rather modest Topps Now 90 OVR Josh Rojas and back when I was still learning hitting I raked with him. It seemed like he hit a home run every swing; it was almost comical. I eventually put him away for MA Devers, but it killed me to do it. Looking back, I still don't know why he hit so well for me.
Biggest disappointment. Other than me not improving my hitting over the course of the year as much as I wanted, I would say it is the glut of amazing players at certain positions. Early on my best hitters were TN Rojas, MA Devers, and MA Austin Riley and they were all 3B so I had to be creative to keep them in my lineup. Now my outfield is so stacked with players I hit well with I cannot put all my best hitters in the lineup.

Yeah, if I buy 23, I have learned so much over the course of this year about managing inventory and stubs as well as what to play to obtain rarer cards in a way that is achievable for me. I will not be making the same rookie mistakes and find myself in a struggle at the end of the season to complete all of the collections.

I don't know if you picked Colorado or did some sort of random selection but if you are just looking for PXP for pitchers, by the end of the season I felt like the Nationals hitting lineup was the worst in the game and therefore gave the most PXP for pitchers per game.

Irl baseball I believe it would a hit and a 3 base error.
That is what I thought was more likely as well.
I was surprised to see no errors in the box score.
But defensive indifference also makes sense to me on one level.
Seems to me a pitcher is getting big time screwed if they call that an earned run though. -
Thanks to both of you for the answer. Now I know.

Is Finest Kluber from the BR program supposed to be an endgame pitcher? I picked him since I had already picked Trout and Johnson on previous playthroughs. But when I was going to add him to my team, based on the numbers comparison I already have five starters that are arguably better than him. Is he more effective than his numbers would indicate?
I used him as a test in a couple of mini seasons games, and he did fine, but I am not sure if he is a better replacement than what I have. -
I had a strange BR game. My opponent would never throw the ball after the outfielder grabbed it. He would just stand there until the CPU threw it back to the infield when the play ended. He knew how to throw the ball because on grounders in the infield he threw me out every time. At first I thought he was trying to bait me into going for an extra base, but on the third one I decided to just go for it and keep running. He never threw the ball and I came around to score. Sciambi called it an inside the park home run. But when I checked the BR missions after, I was not credited with a home run. I checked the game log and it showed as "Justice doubles; Justice scores" with no extra scoring. My opponent was not given an error because the box score showed he had zero errors.
So my question is how would this have been scored? I am thinking Fielder's Choice but don't really know. I also assume the pitcher was given an earned run on that since there was no error. I wonder how that virtual conversation went in the virtual locker room after the virtual game.
