Oh it's not a matter of being able to afford it for me. It's that the PS5 is not a big enough improvement over PS4 to pay the full price. Never has Sony not discounted the previous generations after this long on the market.

I think it also depends on the catcher. Pudge Rodriguez and Salvador Perez are nails!!

Interesting since some were saying it was more so an issue with the PS4 (aka planned obsolesence).

Online should strictly be zone hitting

You clearly don't understand how this game works. Timing and directional do not let you automatically square up anything in the zone. Do me a favor and try playing online using timing or directional, and let me know if you are able to hit anything that's not right down the middle, cause I guarantee you won't.

It's not so simple. I have been using directional a lot. The last game I played I got 4 homeruns and definitely they were not all on pitches down the middle. But they all got a good chunk on the strike zone. I am in the 500s and the opponent in the 400s so not sure if that was on veteran or All-star difficulty - I am sure directional become much harder to get results from as you move up to higher levels

With banks failing left and right and the economy heading downhill, that may be not such a good idea. The number of people who can afford a $500 toy is about to get a lot smaller.

Not as if there was much to catch. As the saying goes: kind of as obvious as the nose on your face.

Pretty big ego you have there, assuming people remember your previous banned name. I just remember you as “the dude that got banned for sending mean messages to another player online.”

Yeah one issue the OP had there was in not accurately describing what happened in the incident about which he (or she) posted. As I believe you yourself later mentioned in the now deleted thread,and pretty much described well what actually prompted the message to the opponent. It was what one could call obnoxious behavior by said opponent - specifically replaying homeruns and most egregiously one with the '23 Coverboy Jazz Chisholm card (this is in the Show '22). And you know that annoying little shuffle he does on his HR trot. Anyways, what was described as trash talk was more just a simple single acronym insult.

YOU may also notice that I DONT CARE!! And again bringing such things up is simply antagonistic and reflects more on the person who posted said message than anything else. What a welcoming 'community' this is.......NOT!!!

While you have to give the game developers credit for responding to many many complaints regarding people quitting games when losing, this seems a typical case of 'unintended consequences'. In other words, the cure is worse than the original affliction and is likely going to have to be revoked to avoid further alienation of users of this product.
