Does anybody know if SDS 100% confirmed that this will be the last game on last gen consoles ? I’m hoping so so that we can get major gameplay and especially graphical improvement to the game

Current generation console are starting to become available at retailers so maybe. I’d say it depends on how their internal numbers look sales wise. Not unless more than half their sales are on current generation console.

With banks failing left and right and the economy heading downhill, that may be not such a good idea. The number of people who can afford a $500 toy is about to get a lot smaller.

I’d lean towards 2025 only because it’ll be over a year for retailers to have legitimate stock for PS5 and XBox X/S. I’m anxious for some visual upgrades myself whenever I play anything else on my PS5 so if it’s 2024 I’d be a happy camper.

We will have the newer model PS5's towards the end of next year. Should all look like the digital versions with option to buy the disk add on separate. Improved internals.

Interesting that before the original PS5 even became widely available, they are already looking to release an updated version. What an epic fail! Is it this bad with the latest Xbox?

They are pretty widely available all this year so far. My local Wal Mart hasnt ran out at all. Neither has Wal Mart online or Amazon.

Thanks. My son bought one about 6 months ago and had to travel a ways (around 80 miles) to a more rural Walmart that had them at the time.

Do y'all really expect big graphic/gameplay updates? I wasn't able to experience PS3/PS4 MLBTS— was it really that different jumping from '13 to '14 or '19 to '20. How different is gsneplay in '19 compared to '23?

As long as Switch is in the loop, the support will remain and the engine won't improve.
I was able to walk in a Best Buy and get a PS5 (surprisingly, not a bundle) here in Canada, 3-4 weeks ago.

In years past they make 3 past gen versions after next gen is launched, this years is the 3rd past gen version.
