After years of never pulling one from any pack, I've pulled three in the last 7 days. One was a choice pack when I got to 650k XP, the second was a Ballin' pack, and just now I pulled one from a regular pack. This is in addition to the one I purchased some time ago in order to acquire Chipper.

I sold the first two that I found, and I'm about to sell the third. Based on the steep drop in price each day, I'm guessing that the market is being flooded, but I thought I'd ask here to see how common Trout cards are in packs nowadays.

This happens to me all the time in games against the CPU when I try a hit and run. The runner(s) will dive back as soon as there's contact. I wouldn't say it happens every time, but it does happen more than half, I think. This quirk somewhat new because I'm a pretty lousy hitter, and in order to avoid double plays, hit and run has been part of my strategy for some time now. I've had to mostly abandon that strategy now.

I found a mistake in the "Carter Ends It!" mission. (Maybe someone else has pointed it out elsewhere in the forum?) It was actually Game 5 of the series and not Game 6 as it is here in The Show. The Mets won Game 6 was a 16 inning marathon in Houston winning the NLCS 4-2.

How do I know this? I was 10 at the time, and I was at Game 5. It was a legendary pitching duel between Gooden and Ryan, but to 10 year old me, it was the most boring thing in the world. The only highlight during the first 11 innings was the crowd in my section booing and heckling a dude in an Astros shirt walking to his seat with a beer. Then came the 12th inning, and you had a feeling that something good was going to happen, and sure enough... Amazin'

I still have my ticket stub from that game. Jeez I'm old.

I pulled a Trout on my 6th inning choice pack a few nights ago, and then I got it in some ballin pack yesterday (or was it a headliners?). Sure enough, the day before I pull, the price plummets. I sold one, but I'm hoping that the price goes up to 200k at some point soon enough for those stubs to be useful.

I don’t know why but I loved his release point in the moments. Everything breaks and then I dotted all corners with that fastball and cutter

I am just glad that it's over and that I got my reward.

Pitching missions rely on luck. You can throw one above the zone and still get tagged for a homerun, or you can lob one down the middle and get a take for a strike. It's all just random numbers. This mission took me a few tries as did a similar Roberts mission. I eventually gave up on the Roberts mission and just played online for that one.
