Hi all,
Is the app running slowly for anyone else? It takes upwards of 15-20 seconds to post an order for me.
Thanks!

More bots on chipper jones, just a heads up @manu__sds_mlbts

@manu__sds_mlbts Here is footage of a bot immediately undercutting with over 200 copies of the same card on Chipper Jones https://share.icloud.com/photos/04fwCRMF1SIJJuJ0uWM7wU67A

Bots on Sal Stewart spotlight and chipper jones currently

There has been a ton of bot activity on the May and June spotlight cards as well. Great idea guys! Hopefully this helps!

Hey everyone & @manu__sds_mlbts ,
I was wondering what could be done about this kind of botting (if it is botting? If not it’s super weird) where you see hundreds of buy now listings at a single value, which makes me think it is a bot or hacked account that is able to bypass the 20 card limit? I’m attaching photos of a few for reference now. strange listings
Thanks all!

Unfortunately not it seems. I just restarted the app like you said, plus you can see the timestamp in the upper left for reference, but here is a visual if that helps. Thank you for your continued efforts! https://share.icloud.com/photos/0f6XET1V3qeBeZEoUY6od5tAg

These restrictions do seem to be much more harsh now. I place 4 orders and I get restricted. Plus, the timer no longer displays. @manu__sds_mlbts did you roll back an update? what happened?? It was running so smoothly!!!:(
-
Oh and as a side note, I believe refreshing a card’s listings counts as a “marketplace action”. This means when a 30 second cooldown is implemented and the user is booted out of that screen, the timer is automatically triggered again increasing the time to 1 minute. Not game breaking by any means, but I wanted to mention that just in case it helps in any way. Thanks again for all of your work on this!

This update feels extremely smooth! Very nice. I did notice however that last night when placing orders once servers were back up, I was able to go very quickly without hitting the coded “limit” of orders within a set timeframe. Today however, I seem to be hitting the limit, and hitting it rather quickly. Could I ask what might be causing this and/or what the timer being triggered is based on? I only ask because I am putting in orders much slower than yesterday, but am getting restricted much quicker (or at all lol). Other than that, this seems like a major step in the right direction. Kudos!

I think all servers are down in general. Dynasty won’t work either. So while the app has has its fair share of problems, in all fairness I don’t think this one is their fault (app devs)

Here is another strange example of a glitch where I placed a few orders, went into another card and backed out because it was taking a while to load the quick sell, and when I clicked on the next card, it restricted my account without even placing an order: link text
-
It must be from the timer though. I’m attaching a screen recording of what we see here: link text
-
I agree! Same issue constantly. I hit the limit at exactly 11 orders every time, even if I hit post, wait 2-3 seconds, post, wait 2-3 seconds etc.
-
Now my account says I am restricted every time I click on a player and it kicks me out, not just when I’ve placed more than 10 orders in quick succession.
-
As soon as I go to post an order, it says it has the same verification error.

You would think that SDS would be able to see very easily which accounts are bots due to the immediate undercutting of transactions. I’d be stunned if they weren’t able to flag transactions or accounts that spend an inordinate amount of time “in the lead” on certain cards, especially after losing the lead for less than a second just to regain it again.I understand the calls to remove the marketplace from the app, but I think that would greatly worsen the experience for users as well. Sure it would cut down on the bots, but for me and I would assume many others, using the app to sell duplicate cards, watch the market, or flip cards is a huge part of the fun. If they implemented a change getting rid of the marketplace in the app, that would be it for me because putting orders in on console is miserable, time consuming, and inefficient. Selling duplicates and flipping cards has been the only way I’ve been able to play for years because of how insanely expensive these cards are. If they get rid of the marketplace, safe to say I’m done for good.

I’d also love some help! Of course I’m sure you’re beyond busy, but it seems like this is maybe a more widespread issue? I don’t use bots either (frankly I wouldn’t know how in the first place), but I’m getting the same error.
Thanks!

Same here with the “restricted” error notification. Scared me like I got falsely accused of cheating on an exam lol
