This recent patch has made the hitting timing windows absolute [censored]. Every hit is either early or late rarely any good squared ups anymore all good ok with good user input

The skill gap is there but it’s not very prevalent. Good players are getting screwed by good okays with amazing pci placement and pitching is still atrocious. Sds claims that the reason no one can locate is Bc of pitchers bb/9 and control stats but good user input means nothing. I personally think the stats on a pitchers card should make it easier/harder to control a pitcher not leave it to rng like they have. There’s been many unnecessary steps taken to band aid the pitching problem. They nerfed hitting when everyone was loving it week one. They’ve barely touched pitching which everyone has been complaining about it’s inconsistencies. And they are not transparent about the issues. Yet they want to blame it on rng and say user input isn’t end all be all, after they have spent months hyping up user input creating a skill gap this year but they took it away after 1 week.

Victor can we get any information on the good/okay hitting feedback. I have not read anything from sds that has talked about this. I just would like to know what is the plan with hitting, and if it is being planned to tweak or to stay where it is?

I think hitting is playing exactly how they want it to which is why we never hear anything regarding it.

Yep, been saying all along this is intentional. Also been saying this studio needs some competition on the market bc they wouldn't pull non-sense like this week to week

It's just insane how transparent they are about fielding being broken, but not one thing has been said about the good okays after the day 1 patch. I just want some clarity as if the game is going to be this way all year or not.

Pitch speeds on all star feel ridiculous. And not to mention pci size is incredibly small for my players on all star. I have an all diamond team and the pci looks about 3/4 the size it was last year. And the pitch speed buff is crazy fast for all star. You have to sit dead fastball and when you get off speed you look ridiculous Bc of how fast fastballa are compared to offspeed. I do hit well still and it does create a bigger skill gap but I feel it’s being done in the wrong way. The skill gap should’ve been created by user input such as pci placement and timing along with pitching placement. Sds made a post in regards to the community complaining pitchers are hard to control. The bb/9 and control attributes for analog pitching at least should make it harder to control with the analog not with rng after good user input. That’d be like giving us button accuracy then 1/2 the time throwing the ball in the bleachers. It doesn’t make sense. Week 1 was the best any mlb has ever felt. And no one even got to experience legend difficulty on week 1 patch before they jumped the gun and tried changing stuff up. Sds needs to focus on user input more than anything right now. Not catering to the average player. They’re getting just as bad as activision is with trying to keep the “casual” players in the game with the good players by making the game rng.

This guy jbob is delusional. Irl players are strong enough to pull outside pitches for hrs. It happens a lot you just don't have good awareness of a strikezone

They announced server maintenance last night and told you what time. Also told you to complete everything prior. This ones on you

My biggest problem isn't with the homeruns its pitching being so awful and the fact with a good pci ball dead center you still receive good ok at an exponential rate. Good input should be rewarded. Even with pitching which is all over the place. You can't locate

Anyone else get dynamic trophies for pitching or hitting but cannot get it to go down so they can get the other half of the trophies?

I spoke to the guy, he said he didn’t do anything but the timing was just a little too weird. Now we’re in a stalemate since noon. Is there someone I can report this too?

Not sure sds hasnt responded to my crash report from day one of early access. RN there's no transparency and feels like they could care less. Especially ruining hitting yet again

It was a hr derby because no one can locate. If you even get good and good while pitching with analog it still has a chance to hang. There's no rewarded user input it's crazy how much they talked up user input before the game came out and now look at the amount of good okays with the ball dead center in the pci. The problem wasn't hitting it was definitely pitching week 1. At least the game was fun to play week 1

Yea. Maintenance was over and I got kicked out of dd about 30 min after and now can’t log in

I found the problem. You cannot use guess pitch and receive perfect perfect. I am now getting 2-5 perfect perfects every rtts game

The Granderson didn't count a conquest all-star win or a play versus cpu for me which is all that is left for me.

I see a lot of people doing a conquest game. I believe you have to do a play vs cpu in the extended play. That's what I did and it counted

I have 2 load outs made for my ball player. When I go from my pitching load out to hitting load out between games it keeps my pitching load out on when I am playing third base. Anyone else having this issue?
