Honestly, I do not know how anyone can enjoy doing the same Moment over and over for an hour. That is why I hate Moments. I do not mind the easy ones, but ones like 8 TB or 3 XBH (even 2 XBH when the player is not that good) drive me nuts.

Pinpoint is not the issue. There’s a pretty good skill gap with pinpoint. Especially since the update making it hard to get perfects. Better players give up less runs because they don’t leave that slider over the heart of the plate every few innings. Bad players do. More of a skill gap that pure analog. Felt like the moonshot event with no control of any pitch
It is folks like you who do not care a fig about realism that caused this problem in the first place. All you care about is skill gap, not the fact that using pinpoint allows a person to be better at pitching than anyone in the history of MLB.

So far, this is the greatest list of players in one program that SDS has ever made. Hopefully, they continue and any Future Stars are henchmen (where imo they should be). Eager to see who they choose for the Yankees. My guess is Gehrig.
Its weird. I hate this game, and it bores me to death, yet I am addicted and will keep playing. It is like crack. That is unless the servers are down long enough for me to break out of the addiction with Diablo 2 and Witcher 3 (again).
But here I am checking the servers...lol

I consistently see this "then dont play" bs comment. The OP, while I may not agree with, is stating something that he wants SDS to read because he want to play the game, but he wants it to improve. SDS does not want anyone with a complaint to just play something else either. Stop with this BS response that seems logical only to the ignorant. I also do not like the way the game is this year. I am still going to play it and complain about whatever about it I do not like so that the game improves. Deal with it.

I didn’t boost moron. Just lots of conquest and the 3rd inning boss collection.
I'm not accusing you of boosting, but I've completed all of the collections except for Nelson Cruz (I picked Ford), all but one of the missions (haven't used my pen enough to get the diamond saves) and I play a lot. I'm just getting to the boss pack now. I don't think you can really blame anyone for being suspicious about the fact that you got to 650K XP with like 20 days to go.
Anyone at 650k already used the walk method to gain XP, and they used it a LOT.
Yes. Kyle is worth 200k if you need to buy the cards. He will be the best hitting catcher until Finest comes out at the end of the season, and maybe even after that. His Live card is even a beast.
Anthony Rizzo is such a good person. I hope Yankees fans and the NY media treat him right.

But when you get a deserved win (where I was vastly disadvantaged) and it doesn’t count. That’s BS!!!!! I have soooo much fun playing this game but I swear the 10% of inexcusable flaws really makes me want to quit. I haven’t put more time into a game since I was in middle school and yet part of me wants to throw this game in the garbage and move on.
You would probably be happier quitting. But do not fool yourself into thinking anyone cares. If you quit, do it for yourself.

It is due to pin point pitching at that level. Too hard to hit when every pitch is perfect.
All cards in the game should be sellable until you lock them into a collection.

You guys are trolls. They are doing this for money. It is the reason for everything they do.
It is quite obvious. SDS figured out that they sell more stubs at the beginning of the year, the season, than at any other time. So someone at SDS, who has since surely been promoted, decided why not have 4 starts of the year (seasons). No one will have cards again and we will see that green flow in 4 times instead of just once.
This primarily affects DD and people who want to play their favorite team. Competitive DD players will be throwing cash at the game at the beginning of each season when they no longer have the best cards. For me, how am I to make an all time Cubs team? By the time I have a Cubs team together I will have to start all over again. Sure those cards will be better, but by the time I have the new team together they too will be taken from me. Over and over again. Non-Core cards will be worth nothing except for collections. No one will have their favorite team put together for any significant period of time.
And why? So SDS and Sony can keep the cash flowing in at our expense (literally). Oh so you don't want to spend money at the beginning of each season? Good luck with that.
SDS goes the way of EA.
To make matters worse, they didn't even use that money to update the game. Same graphics, same celebration animations, very few updates to franchise, etc. It seems they just pocketed the cash and gave us basically 2023 part 2.
If input was all that mattered a 99 diamond would be no better than a common player. Get over it.

This game has always, and will always, try to simulate baseball. It will never be a free-for-all fighting game where you input is all that matters. There are those kind of games though if you "input is everything" people want to compete with each other. TONS of them in fact. They have bent over backwards to give you as much input as possible and still have the game resemble Major League Baseball.
