My game is also freezing after I try and play multiple games in a series. The first game will play fine then the second will freeze in between or during innings. The only fix I have which its not really a fix, but it works is to quit out of each game and go back to the locker room then load into the next game. Are you able to play multiple games in a single series without going back to the clubhouse?
