same here, happened four times and was getting very frustrated went into the 6th and got a perfect that I put out of the yard but man does it wear on you when you are centering the pci with almost perfect timing and getting shallow flyballs and you see your oppenent get a very late double down the line...

You can sit fastball on HOF and even with monitor and great internet you will still be too late on it. Timing really needs to be adjusted on HOF.

Very true, hof event is just each team hoping to get lucky with rng and hit a homer for a 1-0 win. Not to mention it seems only goons play the event.

Now somebody will tell you to get better at the game. Probably because they enjoy spamming unhittable fastballs up and in to righties with Nate Pearson and Michael Kopech, with Chapman and Britton awaiting any lefties who dare to step in.

I am actually pretty good at the game (I win around 75% of my games) but if someone is spamming high sinkers or fastballs and I sit on it then I should be able to punish it - as the game sits now one swing will be early and another too late as the ball warps from the pitchers hand to the glove. Timing is off on all difficulties but on HOF and up its really noticeable.

This is really a problem when you are squaring up a balls and they go no where - when your 14 and 13's are out but they have 10 and 9 pci homeruns. Yes it happens for you sometimes and I hate it when it does because I didnt earn it and I would be totally happy if this didnt happen for me.

Hitting is definitely off, on all star some games the timing and speed feel right and others the ball is coming in at 200mph. HOF is worse as you have to sell out on fastball and still miss due to poor timing windows. To top this off if you do get a perfect/perfect or a good/okay with the ball in the middle of the pci its a out 80% of the time.

So partially agree, games have become either a homerun or strikeout - but my era is under 1 and almost every game I play is low scoring especially on HOF. Power needs to be toned down(slightly) and the timing window needs to be fixed as it is way too inconsistent.

If this were 19 I would %100 agree that br needs to be on HOF, but not this year. Playing the event I have gotten so bored of it being just wait for the first person to hit a homerun and win 1-0.

I’m not having that issue on the event at all. I’ve played 100 event games, and I keep playing them to grab rewards and because the gameplay is so much more enjoyable. You can keep people off balance pitching wise, and good input is rewarded so much more from a hitting standpoint,

I win %75 of my event games as well but they are still boring - you face Kluber\Pearson with Chapman coming out of the pen and the hitters we have currently dont have the vision for decent pci's which make for a strikeout fest. It may be working out for you but for the vast majority it doesnt. I have played 100 event games as well and with a few outliers the scores are often 1-0 2-0. Most casuals wont even attempt it due to the pitch speeds and tiny pci's

This just happened to me yesterday and just now - I was up then it says lost connection and I get the L when my network/internet is fine.

Moonshot super fun, this event is not. It was a slog to get the last 7 wins I needed to get Cespedes.

I dont use Degrom anymore as there are so many other new cards I want to use but I also dont begrudge anyone that uses him as I just quit the game. Records dont matter, if its a bad match up just quit and move on to the next one, I have had no issues getting every WS reward doing this.
