Same problem here. It's really bad in 24, with playstyle always going to Default no matter what you select. The only (partial) workaround I've found is when you finish a game, you can advance to next game from the end-of-game menu. From there it will keep your playstyle selection. Obviously this will only help sometimes, as you have to play a (default) game, the can only "Advance" to SOME games.
