@TripleH-4481_PSN Nope, this literally took just a couple hours for NMS. It was a super short and easy Program.
You just do all the moments which gets you 30 stars and unlocks Mussina. You use him on the new Conquest map for Yankee IP and the Last Ride PXP
Then you load up your lineup with all the available LR hitters and the rest is red sox. And you have it done in like 3-4 3 inning games. Literally one of the most simple and straightforward programs to date.

It's insane to me that anyone could say there isn't content. First of all TA lasts all year, that's the meaty grind. It becomes unrealistic to ever take a break if they release more than they already have! I've been playing since early access and I finally feel like i have a couple days that I can play other games (or maybe even touch grass!) while I wait for the new DQ tomorrow. Don't get me wrong I love the game but it is wholly unrealistic to say that multiple content drops a week is "lacking"

@LadySwampfox_XBL I have the opposite problem where the CPU stats are like they are playing 9 inning games so they have like 30-40 HRs and 200Ks on their guys.

@xIAmJumpMan23x_PSN Incorrect. No one is going to have any sympathy for you complaining about your rewards not being good enough. You got 5 guaranteed diamonds. You were unlucky with your pulls, so what? This is just yet another post of someone complaining for not being handed free stuff. There is no conversation to be had there. If you want more guaranteed rewards you have to play in the higher divisions. It's truly that simple. Therefore, what I contributed above is extremely worthwhile, considering it's the only thing that can be said in response to your frankly silly childish whining.

@Weshill627_PSN Conquest is literally the best mode in the game

Every baseball game is going to feel like a baseball game. If you don't like this game maybe you don't like baseball
-
@BLAISEBLAISE_PSN Ya "april showers" diamond quest.
I just hope we get new Conquest maps. That's what I actually like to play
-
This is my disconnect with the online community and why I never will be able to actually play online seriously...You should not be "rewarded" for every good pci placement. That's just not how baseball works. Does it feel bad? Yes. But baseball is chalk full of hard hit balls right at people. That's why the defense matters. I want the game to be like that, but alas most of the community just wants a HR every AB. Sad
-
You probably already got and opened it. The "pinball" , as you call it, animation only plays after games and when you open the game. So if you got the xp from some collection or something you would have gotten the reward without the animation.
-
SDS...no we aren't We are going to continue playing. It is impossible to make all of us happy and that's ok. You are doing a wonderful job. Thank you.
-
@Pergo_MLBTS It really is a poorly thought out mode. They built it as a rogue-like. But it doesn't play that way. You have no way of getting more "powerful" each run. You just have to get lucky.
-
@P0pa-Cherry_XBL I actually really like this idea, then you would get stat progress and pxp more reliably.
But they also really need to allow you to get your odds to 100% if you succeed all the challenges. And not just for GOAT players. Being able to play on a higher difficulty should let you skip the grind sure, but it shouldn't be the only way you can get to 100%.
-
@Weshill627_PSN Its funny that this is just you giving bad grades to modes you don't play or don't think should be in the game personally.
This game has had consistent content twice a week since launch and ppl still just want to complain about every little thing. No matter what SDS gives them it will never be enough.
-
This may shock you...Stadium creator is not what the majority of the player base buys the game for. Same with Franchise. That's why they don't get the updates as much as other things and always will be. But that doesn't make the game bad
-
@YOSHI24_XBL And that's with you being able to play on HOF. That's my issue, this (like everything else in the game) is essentially saying if you aren't one of the top players you don't deserve to unlock things. Like I'm lucky if I can hit on All-Star especially if you are going to start throwing all diamond pitchers at me.
DQ should be a grind mode but it's not. Because adding all these high overall cards means mine have to be equally good or better to compete even on low difficulties. And not a single change I could ever sniff a win on Legend or even HOF. So because I'm not a top player I have to go through 45-60 minutes of really overly difficult moments to maybe have a 30% chance at the card. This mode just needs improved.
-
You do eventually, its buggy rn I think but when it gets to working right it's pretty cool. They did percentile ranks across DD instead of just your stats. So it shows like you have 6 HRs with that card which is the 75% percentile or whatever
-
So I've been mulling over things they could do to franchise to make it feel more fun and realistic and one thing for me is there are sooooo many players who are like 26-28 and C potential that don't even feel worthwhile giving ABs to because they simply don't have time to develop before they are 30 using the current progression system. BUT what if there was something in Franchise that allowed for players to have "Breakout" seasons just like in real life.
Take Brent Rooker for example, came up late and was pretty bad his first few seasons. I'd have to look to see his initial overall rating in 2023 but I'm sure it was very low given his abysmal stats to that point. But during that season at age 28 he broke out and is now a highly rated player with one of the strongest bats in the game because in newer iterations those big seasons are rewarded. But in Franchise it feels like you can have a guy like this hit 30 bombs and only go up like 2-5 overall points. When in DD having this season the devs boosted him from a 65 to a 73 then to an 84 the next year. There is not a single universe in Franchise where you have a player, especially a 28 year old, grow 20 overall points in 2 seasons. But in real life this can happen! And this is just the first example I thought of, I'm sure there are plenty others. I think this would add a LOT of depth to franchise mode and make those older prospects feel more worth your time.
TL:DR Allowing players to have "Breakout seasons" would let older prospects reach their potential (and more) before the mandatory age 30+ regression that the current franchise engine forces.

they said they will be dropping throughout the week. I wouldn't freak out until the weekend
