I've been playing the TA showdowns a lot recently and my level is climbing fast. Was at Silver 30 something less than a week ago and now im at 61

I am level 24 silver and I’m wondering if I should take the POTM Gary Sanchez or RP Morton for the level 25 pack. I took Alex Reyes the first time fyi. I have Johnny Bench at C rn and he is so good defensively and has been heating up offensively so idk if I should just throw him out for Sanchez like that. Does the POTM Sanchez crush? If not I’ll take the Morton.

Larkin is rock solid, crushes lefties and runs well. I personally would take sandberg, he just seems more well rounded

So I had the impression that this Snell card was nasty and very hard to read. I grind to get him and he has stunk for me in 26.1 innings: 9.91 ERA and 1.71 WHIP. I’d like to say I’m a pretty good pitcher on this game but idk with this card. Was I just completely wrong about this card? Is it not that good or am I choking with him?

I got Newhouser at 80 and honestly regret it. I wish I had Kluber since his sinker is broken good, he is much harder to hit imo. Newhouser has been solid but Kluber is the best pitcher in the game rn.

How do you hit with the Bench card? I hit a crazy amount of fly balls with him. Can’t seem to find a gap to save my life. He’s a good fielding catcher, though.

At first I couldn’t get a hit at all with him but after a few games he’s heated up a lot and cracked a few over the fence for me. I’m gonna keep him until silver 25 and prolly get the Gary Sanchez 87 (unless Bench stays hot of course)

I’ve thought about bringing Helton back in at first, moving Gallo to right and Betts to left and getting either sandberg or Larkin, but everyone is saying Reggie crushes so that’s where I’m lost
