Are there any ways to make stubs and earn Xp fast?

Is this a solid lineup? Or should I spend my 1 million stubs on my team.

Whenever I hit perfect perfects they always go to the deepest part of the park. Then at the last second the outfielder catches The ball at the warningtrack

I do that but it takes too long. Also I suck at Showdown
