    Switch Hitter - Sponsor Patches
  • TheVan27_PSNT TheVan27_PSN

We all know MLB has rules to have sponsor patches facing the CF camera when at bat. The exception is switch hitters for obvious reasons.

My switch hitter in RTTS has the sponsor and team logo patches switch arms within the same game when he switches sides of the plate in subsequent ABs. This is obviously unrealistic. Is this a glitch that needs to be fixed?

@Mikelopes97 Are you talking about day games with clear skies? Because I get nothing for eye wear or eye black then too.

I have my settings to always wearing eyewear and have Oakley Flak 2.0 XL equipped but they do not appear in games. Any idea why? Is this a glitch?

  • Starting Pitcher Every Second Game
  • TheVan27_PSNT TheVan27_PSN

My RTTS player is in AAA and I've recently encountered an issue where I am the starting pitcher every second game. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a known fix?

See thread title. Will uninstalling and re-installing work?

@m-a47_psn said in RTTS Player Can't Be Deleted?:

That's the thing... RTTS isn't a Career mode anymore, it's a single Player campaign for your Ballplayer... You can restart the campaign but you Can't restart your Ballplayer...

In short, you can have as many different saves as you want but they will always be of your same ballplayer... Meaning if you play long enough and decide to start over later, you'll be an all-star level player suiting up as an 18 yrs old in AA ball...

Am I understanding this right... I cannot delete "My Ballplayer"? Will uninstalling and re-installing the game do the trick?

  • RTTS Player Can't Be Deleted?
  • TheVan27_PSNT TheVan27_PSN

I decided to start a new RTTS to see if the new updates have made the game better. I deleted my player in File Management, but when I go to start a new RTTS, my player is still there. How do I start from scratch? Am I missing something?

Normally I'm not the type to rant on a forum about a game, nor am I the type to pile on (I can read just how angry other users are with RTTS), but RTTS for this game is so bad that I need to make an exception on both accounts.

I've bought The Show for years and every year I but for RTTS and RTTS only, aside from a little bit of Franchise mode, but I quickly go right back to RTTS after a short amount of time. That's the mode I buy this game for. I do not recognize what I'm playing with the new game. I actually like the idea of being able to be a two-way player, but I also find it ridiculous and annoying that I need to reset a setting such as wearing both batting gloves at the plate several times a night. Maybe I'm actually missing something, but where do I do batting practice in RTTS? Pitching practice is there, why not batting? I also find it blasphemous that I can't learn a 4th and 5th pitch, and those are just some examples of many problems we can all see on this forum.

I'm reading all about integrating RTTS and DD on this forum. I'm not a young gamer (nor am I an old man by any means). I don't do online gaming. I don't do in-game purchases. I am simply not into these card collecting aspects you see in sports games these days. I'm sure it's a good cash cow that a lot of gamers bite the bullet on and fair enough...but that should not mean that people like myself who like to turn on a console and just play a game should be tossed to the woodshed.

Please fix this. Until RTTS is recognizable to me, I will be playing other games and certainly will not be pre-ordering The Show 22.

When I make the HR derby in RTTS, the pitcher throws with his glove hand. I figured a fix for this would come in a patch by now, but nope. Has anyone else had this issue?
