How much money do you think SDS makes once a player buys the game and doesn't buy stubs any longer? The business model for these games and most other online games is microtransactions. You seem to think they lose sleep over players like you leaving, but they got their money from you. Next year they will likely get it again. They are not failing and if they were there wouldn't be an MLB The Show.

Content creators need SDS and EA to gain views. SDS and EA need content creators to gain publicity. The process benefits both parties. Doesn't feel like a broken system to me. Not sure why we need two threads on something that works exactly as designed.

Got my money? I got the game off Game Pass for Free and never spent a single penny on stubs. They got nothing from me. Sad to know you spend on stubs though pathetic.

There’s no limit to the amount of posts I’ll make. This is a bad game and I’m providing a public service. If it keeps one person who is on the fence from playing this POS I’ve done my job.

Well I mean at least 95% of the time you can play Madden online with minimal to no lag. That alone makes it a better online game. This game is hideous online and that’s being generous.

The thread encompasses this game. It is the pinnacle of poor online gaming experiences for sure.

It's upsetting. It's a good game. Just online is dogshit. At least now I don't have to worry about playing the market, or having everything in order for the next collection. Who cares. They could release Mickey Mantle with all 125 across the board and his community Batting average would be .150.

I'm tired of every game being 3 hits, all homruns and lucky bloop singles.

Sds has their head shoved so far up their wallets that I don't see this game being fixed.

Yeah hitting is way too difficult online for the game to be any fun. No way around that.

No one can avoid bad connections and lag, it’s the internet. But some ISP’s use outdated equipment or just junk. I love playing video games online so I would try anything and rule it out. Most of the time though, yeah it’s just your ISP, but its worth a shot man. I’d rather know than not know. Why the exception with the coasts? Just curious

Servers are closer on the coast.

It’s a an awful game. But prepare yourself for the SDS white knights to ride in.

I’ve encountered this occasionally. Their just that good or their a bot. Not sure. Didn’t matter where I threw the pitch. Even out of the zone it was flying over the fence.

A lot of people come on these forums to vent/complain but holy fook that’s ALL you do.

I hate Madden also to be clear.

You guys gotta realize this game is elite. So much better than Madden for example. Do you guys know that on Madden the servers actually work? Ewww gross. Gaming online is meant to be filled with lag and choppy gameplay.

Plus on Madden they only spam like 2-3 “glitch plays” all game.

This game is so much better because…

1. Everyone has the same team. So it’s more fair.
2. Everyone plays at Shippet.
3. Everyone spams DeGrom and Cabrera.
4. Everyone spams 100+ mph sinkers and cutters.
5. PPP is revolutionary and makes 3-4 so much better.
6. Everyone spams contact swing and can hit any pitch, Even ones rolled on the ground to the plate.

As you can see this game is vastly superior to the competition, particularly online play.
