What I want to see for Team Captains is past Face of the Franchise type players. As a fan of particular teams I'm scratching my head wondering why the bulk of the Captains players that came up through a team but play for a different team now. If I were a Yankees fan I would be excited to use Whitey Ford and Don Mattingly as my Captains but those players are synonymous with the Yankees. As a Reds fan I'm like why are Sonny Gray and Eugenio Suárez my captains? Both were great players but neither is a "Face-of-the-Franchise" player. Each team has wealth of past legends so why not pull from those for captains? SDS is correct to make them 87 overalls but that is already fitting players into an OVR mold. As a Reds fan give me an 87 OVR of José Rijo or Rob Dibble as my pitching captain and and 87 OVR of Barry Larkin or Johnny Bench as my Captain. If I were a die hard Cubs fan I would want an Ernie Banks. As I pirate I would want Roberto Clemente. I guess they were aiming for players that wouldn't interfere with playing the best version of Barry Larkin but I think I would rather choose between an 87 OVR Larken Captain and say a 99 OVR Larkin awards but then there aren't very many players with multiple versions within Season 1. At least I would have a player on my team that everyone would think of as a Reds player.

Just food for thought and something I've been chewing on this year.

I also find myself wanting more/different Team Captains. Pack pulls and cards released after I chose my captains have me wanting to have made different choices.

Interesting. I tried Attacking the Texas Rangers Stronghold in TA West Conquest and am getting a message that "Your opponent has an invalid roster." I'm on a PS5 and would be curious what platform you are playing on.

And just for the record I can't start a single player game against the CPU either.

Agreed, I can't get past the set lineup screen. Says that the opponent team left the match.

Well, that would be pretty boneheaded move on their part.

I was thinking the same thing my friend. Daily Moment obviously related to Robinson and all players are wearing 42 in game and . . . oh wait Moment doesn't work because the card hasn't been loaded. Doh!

Anyone else having issues loading into today's Daily Moment, What If: Robinson vs. Kershaw? I keep getting a message saying "You need at least 26 players on your team, please adjust it before playing." Then I get, "ERROR: Lost connection with opponent."

Yes I'm having that problem about half the time. My team will load in with the colors but none of the custom logos I have set are are loading. It is affecting Uniform logos as well as scoreboard and box scores.

This is getting very frustrating. I have now opened 3 Team Specific Affinity Packs and received Duplicate Silver players. Two Jose Quintana in each of two Cubs Packs and 2 Matthew Boyd out of a Tiger pack. I've only opened 2 total other packs were I didn't receive a duplicate silver player, a Cubs pack and a Reds pack. This should be very rare and is very disappointing. Please fix this.
