the top players have better records than last year.
alot of people just aren't as good as they think they are. bigger skill gap this year scrubs getting exposed

not sure if you've faced the gold maddux yet. saw him on legend and he's nasty. 99 OVR will be a god this year

doesn't need to be fixed. you need to get better at reading pitches

Check swings do not happen 65 x in 1 game at an 85% success rate.

Maybe you should pitch in the zone more? I have never seen 65 check swings in a game. However, there is a possibility it could happen in real life no matter how probable it would be. As far as physics, a sinker would not be able to move in such a manner thrown that way.

You want to talk about ball physics and realism then tell me to “pitch in the zone” it’s a hitters job to earn strikes.

Oh and sorry it wasnt 65 it was 69 and it happens all the time. This is a completely broken game mechanic.

If you would've thrown 1/3 of those pitches in the zone it would have been 23 strikeouts.

not a chance. in the zone results in very early/late foul balls.

They will do like they always do and watch the metrics. If strikeouts are too high for the average player, they will change stuff. People need to keep in mind that SDs is a business and will do what is necessary to keep the majority of their customers happy.

If you really want a purely skill based competition, go play actual baseball. this is a video game and a consumer product first, a competitive game second.

Sure, they could tailor the game to fit the 5-10% of players that think this game is more important than their wife sitting in the other room watching her life slowly slip away, questioning her life decisions.

But, those of us with money, focus on other things. Thus, the game will tailor to the majority.

Really? Covid didn't have you locked up for a year?

1700!!!!!!! I'm not even close to that. I was locked up for just over 500. do some math. 1700÷365= 4.6 games per day. 45 minutes a game roughly
. that's almost 3.5 hours per day on the game. if you take a day off that's 7 hours the next day. I dont care what disease is floating around 1700 is for basement dwellers.
