This! I’m fine with moments not allowing stats but I hate showdowns not allowing it for program advancement. It is a little thing but if I have to come back down 5 runs, why not allow me to generate some PXP and stats for my guys, especially for program stars
@Doppelganger39_PSN Nope. They posted Monday about the video, which we never got, but posted today about the stream tomorrow at 2pm PST, 5pm EST
Maybe with the lack of clarity in their communication they will give us extra Twitch drops

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN Right but they’ve given us a gameplay trailer on 2/3 and what’s new with RTTS On 2/10. Today is 2/17 so I expected something. Their X account on the Mondays before give us their weekly outlook and yesterday was no different.
So I know SDS hasn’t given us dates for this year’s trailers and streams but the last couple have been, trailer on Tuesday by 4pm CST and stream on Thursday. The info they gave us earlier this week/last week was we should see the 2 things but no dice today. Hoping it comes out tomorrow at the latest? I’m super pumped for this year and stay on the lookout for info, just disappointed they haven’t been as consistent or transparent as the last few years with their trailers and streams. I’m hoping we get new announcers because the repeats are stale.
Also, we didn’t get a presentation stream last year but did in 24 right? I can’t remember for sure.
Not sure if or when these players were ever in the game as legends but I don’t recall them from this last year. Below is one player from each team I wish we had. Again, not sure about player rights but think they could one day appear. I know many played for multiple teams but just adding them for whoever would be nice. Hot take for many and not the flashiest but dudes that could be fun.

@platewelder_363_PSN Make sure you’ve opened the packs now so your vouchers are in your current inventory. The Now and Later packs for 26 will be in your new inventory once the full game launches. Same goes for the Beltran card if you completed the N&L program.
@GoozeFn_PSN I may be wrong but I think because Bonds does not allow his. Abbott I would assume gave his permission. I feel like not all legends allow their image and likeness but we only talk about Bonds because he is the most talked about in that regard.
If they made the card rewards guaranteed, I’d always play the mode at least once. Maybe make it only at Veteran difficulty if they want to make it somewhat a challenge. If you play All Star, you get maybe an extra Show Pack, Hall of Fame a Ballin Pack, Legend a Jumbo pack, Goat a Chase pack. You get the idea. Some kind of incentive for those that want to play higher difficulties. I’m just not a fan of the percentages they put in. Why play All Star over rookie for an extra 7% chance. They can still have failures or successes in the moments and showdowns give positive or negative perks, just remove the percentages.
I’m also not a fan of Diamond Quest. It seems to take too long to have such a small chance at the rewards. I’m not good enough to play on hall of fame and consistently win even vs the CPU to give myself better odds. The one time I did, I still didn’t get the card I worked an hour for. I’d rather grind other modes and wait for the price to go down. I bought Shane McClanahan wayyyyyy late in the year for that reason. At least Showdowns give you XP for program advancement.
@nymets1987_PSN The colleges for RTTS had notable alumni and Jim Abbott was on there for Michigan.
@TRinehart32_PSN This is a well written post and you make a good argument. I personally only play DD and never touch the other modes, unless I’m bored and, like now, trying them out before the new game launches. I’m no money spent and enjoy the grind of DD and get joy ripping packs like I did as a little kid, albeit virtually. But, if online franchise were a thing, I know I would probably spend a good bit of time in that mode, so yes, the money spent folks I’m sure would too and it would certainly hurt the bottom line for SDS because I doubt they could recoup that loss in game units sold by those that would buy the game for online franchise exclusively. It’s hard to argue with their logic, if that is the reason, because they are in it for profit, but I do feel like SDS does a wonderful job of trying to listen and appease as much of the community as they can, knowing not all will be happy. I think it is worth still voicing our opinion and hope they make small adjustments over time to continue building us the perfect baseball game. Good post!
@Rubbaneck34_XBL I agree to an extent with you. Most are irrelevant once collections are done or the game advances a bit past the launch cycle. I don’t play much online though so I actually made it a point last year to P5 as many LS cards I wanted to. I think I did around 30 or more. I have fun playing as those cards and hoping they diamond in a roster update. This year, however, I’ve already decided to use the best cards and not worry as much about trying to use LS, just as a switch up from last year. You have a great point.
@Dolenz_PSN Interesting and good point. Never heard of that game. I would love it if they have those 3 named guys and maybe a new Golden Spikes collection set or program. Tons of cool options and new legends if they do. Not sure which of these players have been in before but others they could maybe add or bring back….

Talking about players in the stream is different than actually having their name in the game. I feel like they would have to have the rights to use their name in game which should mean they create the player model. Not guaranteed but hopefully!
Looking back at the notable alumni, a lot mentioned won the Golden Spikes award. I’m thinking it could be a new collection set in DD

I bought tickets to that Ranger game last night. I remember watching that game when I was younger and Ryan was always my favorite player. Super pumped!
Now Sebastian Walcott , #7 overall prospect, is out for the year with a UCL injury. Injuries getting every team already. 
All of these injuries early with big names out. WBC may be interesting and Opening Day may look a lot different than projections. It’s gonna be crazy when the last week of the season will come down to the results of the first week. Baseball is back!
