I love using new cards and wish there was a way they would incentivize using silvers and golds. I think it would be a great idea with the mini season overhaul if we were limited to only using silvers for one season and golds for another with a third season to start with that we can use whatever we would like. I know we can always use any cards. We want most of the time, but using silvers against diamonds, makes it tougher. Just an idea and it would help develop our team affinity cards, and theme teams early on. Maybe they could even add an NGL mini season.

@Pergo_MLBTS Go to your inventory, under unlockables. If you did the program, you get 12, the 11th inning program gives you 9 and the November Scouting Report another 5. 26 total.
-
@doobiebross66-72_PSN I did the same but got a response within a couple of hours. SDS, despite what some folks on here say, do a great job of taking care of their players.
-
@doobiebross66-72_PSN The other 5 came from the November Scouting Report. If you were signed up for it then, send in a ticket and they should get you set up. They did for me at least.
-
@nymets1987_PSN My only method is to actually make them the captain and then look for the arrow in the top left corner of the cards in your inventory to see if they qualify.
-
@Finn_Scotus_MLBTS Totally agree. The only way to earn stubs is consistently playing and selling cards or buy stubs with real cash. Either way, it shows a loyalty to the product and I wish were rewarded.
-
Stupid question, but would there ever be a consideration that stubs could carry over from one year to the next, albeit at a much lower conversion? In other words, I have 600k now in 25….what if it was like a 100 for every 1 for MLB26? Or have now and later packs buyable at a very high price? Like a 10 pack for 100k? Only reason I ask is I’ve completed all collections and the stubs I have are just fodder at this point.

Just for fun, I wanted to compare programs, cards, modes, etc. from 23 and 24 to this year. I forgot how awful those 2 years were. Not just sets and seasons but the whole of the games. Granted, I put 500 hours into 24 and 275 hours in 23, but man SDS sure hit a weak grounder on those. Not saying 25 didn’t have its faults, but it is clearly better than those 2 games. Let’s hope SDS continues the upward trend! If my counting is right, we had almost more programs this year than 23 & 24 combined. Plus, looking back I’m personally not a fan of the old TA. Overall, I feel like this is a much better product and I take back all of my complaining over the last year.
-
Any chance they give us a tech test this year? I believe 23 was the last time we got one.
-
What about Michael Kopech? Thoughts?

https://share.icloud.com/photos/00fpEj4YAxC3XpURNR9ujeYsQ ChatGPT did this but make it Ohtani/Murakami, Ketel, and Acuna and this would be dope for a deluxe edition
-
@Dolenz_PSN something tells me no unless it is in the international market. With WBC this year, maybe the standard edition will be Skubal with the Deluxe, like they did 23 with Jeter, could and should be focused on a key player/players from various countries, i.e., DR, Japan, Cuba, etc.
-
I did the same and left mine up for a week to no avail. I doubt we have much chance at finishing that collection. I wish SDS would put one in the Now and Later Program. My OCD is killing me that it is my last collection to complete and I only need one of those unattainable ones!
-
Good list. I might add the Twins and maybe the Red Sox as 2 of the cheaper as they only have one or two high golds or low and always pulled diamonds. The market was weird last year so I’m hoping they can control the ridiculously high price of the top 3 guys. I usually can complete the LS Collection a month or two in, last year it took me until December to make enough stubs because I had to buy Ohtani, Judge, and Witt.
-
@TheGoaler_MLBTS I think the announcement last year was around January 28. I feel like we may get another spoiler late next week.
-
With 26 around the corner, I was curious how many hours you’ve put into 25. I must say I feel like I enjoyed this year better than the last few, and I’ve got 450 hours in. Definitely fills my free time which I’m blessed to have a lot of since my wife is a flight attendant and our kids are all grown.
Pros and Cons/Thoughts
-
TA - I loved the progression and progress for individual teams vs divisions. I do wish there were constant rewards vs nothing from 350k xp to 1.5 mil xp.
-
Power Creep - I love feeling like as I improve with more play time my team does. It gives me a reason to grind. Only negative is the quick jump to 99s at the All Star break. I’d actually like to see about half as many 99s next year. I play offline mainly so to be fair, I’m not worried about facing the same lineups.
-
Conquest, Mini Seasons, and Diamond Quest - loved the maps and repeatable rewards for most. MS improved greatly from 24 and the rewards and how many were solid. Not a fan of DQ. It takes too long to work through the mode and I don’t feel like the odds are in our favor for the best card rewards.
-
Multiplayer - no complaints since I hardly play that mode. I actually do like the combination of all MP modes.
-
Collections and Market - it took me all year to finish and I had to buy the big 3. It did feel like pack luck was rough this year and the market was dead from the jump. I did like the rewards and variety of cards types to collect.
-
Programs - they hit a home run with content drops and almost all were bangers.
-
Gameplay - CPU defense needs to have the same penalties as user controlled because it is frustrating when they always get perfect jumps. Hitting was definitely nerfed. I know baseball has variables but I’d rather them tighten the window for perfect perfects but nearly guarantee a hit or bomb based on power attributes. It’d make me feel more accomplished if I did get the PP. I do get how difficult it is the create the RNG. The fun far outweighs any complaints.

-
I signed up for the Scouting Report years ago and always get the monthly pack, until this year around August. Granted, I did not play from August until December but I missed the November pack that had Now and Later in it. Is it because I had not logged on or is it a glitch?
-
Just for fun, who do you think will make the cover for MLBTS26? My guesses:
Cal Raleigh - Seattle hasn’t had anyone since Jr. and Dumper broke some of his records this past year. Plus a bit of West Coast bias for SDS.
Aaron Judge - won 3 of last 4 AL MVP award (was on 2018 so I’m not betting on it, but we know SDS loves the Yankees
Kyle Schwarber - top 3 in most offensive stats and big for the Phillies resigning him
Wade Boggs - SDS loves the Chicken Man and he had #26 retired by the Red Sox. Haven’t had a retired player on the cover since Jr. and it makes sense for the year matching his jersey
Thoughts?

It is borderline unplayable when you get to the 3rd inning in a Conquest game and the game disconnects you, losing the game and all progress with your players. It happens multiple times a day and with a variety of modes. @SDS_Adam_MLBTS please make a fix for this. We have 3 months before 26 drops and I’d like to enjoy playing 25 until then.
