It’s unbelievable that this late in the game we still have to talk about this. Why in Gods name is the hitting engine still garbage. It’s been complained about all year and hasn’t improved. Your literal golden boy of the show (YourFriendKyle) just had the epitome of what the game has become in his video. Sliders a foot inside and terrible swings become base hits, and great swings with pitches in the zone 100+ exit velocity are outs OVER 75% OF THE TIME. why did hitting in the show 21 make more sense than the current hitting engine. We have guys like trout with 100+ power hitting lazy fly balls on “good” swings and gold cards getting base hits left and right on pitches outside of the zone. I’ve heard people saying it’s entirely false advertising that it’s “realistic” which it is and that’s not good. There is no reason to grind for a good card when a guy with 110+ power 90+ contact will fly out on the same swing a gold will get a base it. The game has just turned into only perfect perfects are home-runs and doubles which means grinding for good cards is honestly pointless. By making the game “less home runs” you’ve honestly broken hitting entirely and it’s not just a personal thing. Watch every single YouTuber who plays and your gonna see 100s of great swings with diamond cards lead to nothing and 100s of bad swings with mid cards be hits. There’s a reason this game gets less players every year. It feels worse every year.

This moment is genuinely worse than the extreme moment for this spotlight week. This guys card sucks and the pitcher has walked me 80% of the times I’ve loaded it up. I got to 9/10 on the extreme moments and this one adell moment is way harder. He has 55 power and every perfect swing barely get outta the infield. How is that supposed to score 3 runs?
