These are a few things that I would personally like to see put in the game that I don't believe are in the game.
-Players should have have another tab in their Player info that has awards and accolades that show MVPs, CYs, All-star appearances , WS wins, etc.
-An MLB award and World Series history (most likely in Franchise)
-Allow players to chose random weather for games and/or add snow as possible weather in games
The first 2 points are things that 2k has done and would love to see in The Show, the last point is something I think would be cool when your playing with a friend, it could keep the games interesting to not know whether you're gonna play in the rain or snow (if they add that), I know it probably wouldn't do too much to gameplay
