I feel like this exactly illustrates my point. I’m well aware there are fielders and I simply said the amount of times I hit the ball over 100 mph only to have it be for naught is frustrating. The chart shows the batting average on [censored] hit over 102 mph is over .500. The same numbers of fielders are on the field for those hits (I’m assuming). So simply put if you hit the ball really hard more often than not, you will get a hit. The shows response to that? Hold my beer.

I agree that a perfect-perfect should not be an automatic hit but, I share the frustration with OP. When you hit a ball over 100 mph your average in theory goes up. Lately playing this game it feels like I’m hitting more in the ball park of .100 on those exit velo’s. Now maybe it’s just ebbs and flows but a perfect perfect should be a hit at least half the time.

What’s the way to get the most out of your dupes player cards? I feel like someone has had to crunch the numbers and knows the best path.

Is it A. Sell them

B. Exchange them for TA points

C. Exchange them to upgrade (cash commons to get a bronze then cash in bronze to earn a silver etc.)

Or D. Another scenario I’m completely missing

I have to be hitting over .500 with benson but I haven’t had a single ball with a LA over 12 in about 30 attempts.

Working on TA and I’m at a point where I have a full captain roster. I plugged in Jeter for the hitting boost anyone know of a pitching captain similar to Jeter (boosts other captains)? I see there’s a RP captain but I was hoping for something better. Am I overlooking someone?

What cases a flash sale and do peces typically rebound? Invested over a 100k into the core collection and as of now taking a huge loss lol.

Is it worth it to try to play cpu on a higher level where you get les[censored]/runs but earn slightly more pxp or just play rookie and light up the scoreboard?

Just being devils advocate but, does it really matter for us offline players? I actually enjoy having a diverse lineup where I have to think through who’s batting where. It’s more realistic to have some weak hitters in your lineup compared to years past where my worst hitter was still a 99 overall just got stale after awhile. Playing against the computer I don’t see the need for a full 99 ovr lineup.

Online though I get there’s a disadvantage so I can see ppl being upset about that for sure and that makes sense.

I agree for the most part. It’s nice to get them for the ls collection but, unless I’m grinding a TA mini season they never see the field.

I pulled trout this morning for the first time (started playing in 21). I have to say that was pretty fun, although of course I pull him when is value is only 170,000. But hey, still cool.

I’m shocked there’s no sonny gray. Twins fan biased but how does he not have at least a lie 90’s POTM or even a tops now…

I had the exact problem with TA seasons three seperate times… only a few games into classic now but I hope at least that mode works for me.
