@b00std_mark_II
I appreciate that!
Maybe crossplay is the issue. I will turn that off and see if that helps, but usually when the game freezes it is other Xbox players, as they will quickly message you asking you to leave so they don't get the cooldown.At the end of the day I would just like it if I could get a response from SDS support or even an acknowledgement of the issue. I am afraid my next cooldown will be for two weeks (happened to a friend last year).

@SilverQ73 that’s great. You joined 3 days ago, are you planning on being active on the forum once the issue is resolved?Enter BJDUBBYAH, Gate Keeper of MLB The Show Forums. You have a problem with this game? Oh you haven't been posting negative replies for 3 years straight? Well than you can **** off because we don't complain around here, or help anyone for that matter.

Don't reply hypocritical, negative, nonhelpful things when you have skeletons in your closet of you crying like a baby about this game. -

People are nothing but jerks when it comes to online play.When you FINALLY get a chance to get one if the BR mission guys in your draft; one of two things happen.
Your opponent walks/beans the player.
OrIf you're lucky enough to match up with someone who actually pitches to the player, and you get part of the requirements, the game either freezes or ends in a 'Friendly Quit'.
I've got my lineup pretty much set and I don't even want to play this cluster $@#$ anymore.Guess all those stubs I have saved up will just sit there and 'collect dust'.
Game has been deleted from my console.
I'd rather take my chance with the exploits and glitches in the franchise mode if Madden than put anymore time into this game.
Lmaooooooooooooooo yet you are still here

@x814xmafia
Looking at all your replies I wonder why you even waste your breathe posting all your negativity here.
Literally every one of your replies is nothing helpful and just negative and berating. -
@SilverQ73
Lmao exactly. I swear this guy is being stupid on purpose just to be annoying. -
@BJDUBBYAH
Diamond Dynasty is Ranked Co-op -
@BxnnyMxn_
No problem!Might look into getting a hotspot to temporarily use in the meantime.
May be the easiest and quickest solution for your specific situation. -
@BJDUBBYAH
You're right. I was given a "Cooldown" for 48 hours for something that is beyond my control and not my fault.
In fact, it is most likely an issue with SDS servers as multiple people have this issue.I am given a Cooldown restricting me from playing debatably the largest online feature of this game, that I paid money for.

Oh gosh this might be a novel lol.
Also to preface, I have an IT degree and work specifically with networking in my 9-5, so I would hope I am qualified to know what I am talking about.The following steps aren't really in a specific order, maybe just most obvious to deep diving.
Check Network Connection:
Ensure that your Xbox console is properly connected to the internet. You can do this by going to the Xbox dashboard and navigating to Settings > Network > Network Settings. Check if your console is connected to the internet and if the connection is stable.Restart Console and Router:
Sometimes, these issues can be resolved by simply restarting your Xbox console and router. Turn off your Xbox, unplug the power cable from both the console and your router, wait for a few minutes, then plug them back in and turn them on again.Test Connection and Nat Type:
Go to Settings > Network > Network Settings on your Xbox and run the "Test network connection" option. This will provide you with information about your network status, including your NAT type. If your NAT type is strict or moderate, it may be causing connectivity issues with certain games. Follow the prompts to adjust your router settings to open up the NAT if necessary. (google how to change NAT to OPEN).Test the above steps on both Wi-Fi and Ethernet if possible.
Port Forwarding:
Login to your router and open the following ports.
Caution: Save the router config before doing this so you can have a restore point if something goes wrong.
As a last resort you could reset it to default too I suppose.TCP Port 3074:
This port is used for Xbox Live multiplayer and party chat. Opening this port can help improve connectivity for multiplayer games.UDP Port 88:
UDP port 88 is used for Xbox Live network communication. Opening this port is essential for the Xbox console to connect to Xbox Live services.UDP Port 3074:
Similar to TCP Port 3074, UDP Port 3074 is also used for Xbox Live multiplayer and party chat. Opening both TCP and UDP ports 3074 ensures better connectivity for multiplayer gaming.TCP Port 53:
This port is used for Domain Name System (DNS) resolution. While not specific to Xbox Live, opening TCP port 53 can sometimes improve network performance and connectivity.UDP Port 53:
UDP port 53 is also used for DNS resolution. Opening UDP port 53 alongside TCP port 53 ensures smooth DNS communication for Xbox Live services.UDP Port 500:
UDP port 500 is used for Internet Key Exchange (IKE) and is essential for establishing VPN connections. While primarily used for VPNs, some Xbox Live services may utilize this port for communication.UDP Port 3544:
This port is used for Xbox Live party chat and video communication. Opening UDP port 3544 can help ensure smoother communication during multiplayer gaming sessions.UDP Port Range 4500-4530:
This range of UDP ports is used for IPsec NAT traversal (NAT-T). Opening this range of ports can help facilitate secure communication between your Xbox console and Xbox Live services, especially if you're behind a NAT device.Reinstall the game on your console.
Test with another console or internet if possible (phone hotspot actually works great for me for testing).
Now after all of this if you are still having issues, you could check with your ISP to see if they can see anything on their end.
But I am pretty certain it is just an issue with the SDS servers and not our stuff.

@BJDUBBYAH_PSN
I can play every other mode except what I want to play, which I can't play due to SDS banning me for their issues. -
@BJDUBBYAH_PSN
I only buy this game for Co-Op. Diamond Dynasty is the only thing I want to play. -
@RUSTY_DUGAN_PSN
Yes, I have this issue. Only play 2v2 or 3v3. Happened three times in a row on release day.
Hadn't had it happen in two days and then it happened again.
This combined with the game freezing has resulted in me receiving a 48 hour ban from rated play from something I can't even control.
Absolutely ridiculous.
(Yes I have troubleshooted my xbox and internet, neither has an issue as this error follows me to other xbox's and internet location, and happens to friends) -
Anyone else having issues in Diamond Dynasty with losing connection with opponents?
I have confirmed it is not my Xbox or internet.Happens randomly. I can play 3 games straight with no issues in 2v2 or 3v3, but then randomly (happened in the 9th inning), I will get "Lost connection with opponent". This results in me receiving a ban. Just straight up kicks me out of the game.
On top of this, you have to deal with the game freezing about ~25% of the time during online matches, forcing a stale mate of who can leave their console on for the longest time until the other person leaves.
The combination of these issues have racked up a 48 hour ban on my account.I have submitted two support tickets with San Diego Studios and have yet to hear any response.
Absolutely ridiculous customer service for someone who spends money on this game and just wants to play.
Why even receive bans for leaving games? 95% of the time it is not the users fault.
This game freezing / losing connection with opponents is frustrating enough, and then you slap a ban on someone's account for something they can't control. Disappointing.
