The point of this post was to just let people know that nomatter how good the card is, It’s not immune to the exit velocity problem. That’s it.

But all the SDS fanboys feel the need to defend the game 24/7 against any & all complaints.

I decided to spend the stubs I had been saving because I’m probably gonna switch to other games in a month. Seager, Harper, ect…I picked em up and they are very good cards. I was surprised at how good Harper is defensively. Dude robbed 2 balls in one game!…Anyway - While they’re good cards, They are bound by the same laws of physics that every other player is….Low exit velocity. Why would anyone pay money for cards they can’t get the most out of?

People like hitting homeruns, We just do. This exit velocity issue could be fixed in a second if SDS wanted to. It’s simply adjusting the behind the scenes sliders. So if you’re thinking about getting the new guys, Just know they suffer the same problems as everyone else.

@The_Joneser_PSN I mean that’s generally how official message boards for a game work bud. The customers complain until the vendor fixes the issues. ‍️

I can look past the other issues but the hitting is 90% of my frustration with this game. I feel like whoever made it last year took another job somewhere and they gave hitting to some board member’s kid.

I love Santana. He’s my DH & best hitter & he hits a TON….But he is very bad in the field, Plays worse than his ratings & is slow as molasses. But that bat -

I’m honestly thinking of just going back to The Show 24. The gameplay is terrific and I already have my team so I can just play.

Jeter cards RAKE! Will probably finally unseat Mookie.

Madden & CF are ok if you just play regs. But stay away from their Ultimate Team modes - That’s where it’s bad.

@soulshred99_PSN I’m 48…My skills have definitely worsened over the years. Used to make WS every season, But haven’t made it this or last year. The outlier fastball on HOF, I simply can’t catch up to the high ones anymore. I still hit 775 ish in RS but always lose that next game. It’s frustrating but Father Time is undefeated.

I quit playing MUT years ago because it became micro transaction central. DD was the last of the dominos to fall, Sadly it did. Next year I’ll just play online rated like I do in Madden now. Sad but this model has to go away and the only way to do that is to not play it.
